Freelancer27
This idea is something not much thought out of and is pretty much not worth it to my thoughts. But I think this idea could do something for you guys so I wrote this down and like you know much about this. So there. You could call this as a Reconfiguration Tool or a Super Forma. As this modifies the base statistics and provides additional characteristics to your weapons and Warframes. This will not replace the mod system, instead, it extends the customization for the base statistics themselves. Every weapon has a point limit of 10, every warframe has a limit of 15. This makes the uniqueness of similar weapons. For example two Soma's with different characteristics: First Soma has increased critical chance and damage but comes with a decrease in rate of fire and clip size. While the second Soma has a specific Elemental damage in Radiation and Gas, with a slight boost for Critical damage, with a decrease in Clip Size and Reload speed. - Each boost will require an extra Super Forma, like: 1(SF)/(Boost)/(Negative or Null) per use. - Each positive Forma uses 1 point. - Each 2 negative Forma gives 1 point, negatives have a negative limit of 10 for the weapons, Warframes take a limit of 20. For weapons. Click the spoiler. (Positives) Physical Weapon damage +5%, limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5 /+25%. Physical Weapon damage +5% (+), Rate of fire -10% (-), limit 25% and 50% 1/+5%/-10%, 2/+10%/-20%, 3/+15%/-30%, 4/+20%/-40%, 5 /+25%/-50%. Elemental Weapon Increase (On each elemental. This is multiplicative for the attached mods, does nothing without these.) +10%, limit 50% 1/+10%, 2/+20%, 3/+30%, 4/+40%, 5 /+50%. Rate of fire +5%, limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5/+25%. Accuracy +5%, limit 25% (Minus those that have 100 accuracy. Exceeding will be considered as 100.) 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5/+25%. Clip Size +5%, limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5/+25%. Critical Chance +5% (Multiplicative), limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5/+25%. Projectile Speed +10%, limit 50% (For those that have flight time. This will not be available as a negative, though.) 1/+10%, 2/+20%, 3/+30%, 4/+40%, 5/+50%. (Negatives) Physical Weapon damage -5%, limit 25% 1/-5%, 1/-10%, 1/-15%, 1/-20%,1/-25%. Elemental Weapon Decrease (for the mods. Energy +2% (Multiplicative), limit 10% 1/+2%, 2/+4%, 3/+6%, 4/+8%, 5 /+10%. Power Strength +5%, limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5 /+25%. Power Duration +5%, limit 25% 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5 /+25%. Power Range +5%, limit 25% (Stop the "-r" in Range.) 1/+5%, 2/+10%, 3/+15%, 4/+20%, 5 /+25%. Energy +4% (Multiplicative), limit 28% 1/-4%, 1/-8%, 1/-12%, 1/-16%, 1/-20%, 1/-24%, 1/-28%. Power Strength -5%, limit 35% 1/-5%, 1/-10%, 1/-15%, 1/-20%, 1/-25%, 1/-30%, 1/-35%. Power Duration -5%, limit 35% 1/-5%, 1/-10%, 1/-15%, 1/-20%, 1/-25%, 1/-30%, 1/-35%. Power Range -5%, limit 35% 1/-5%, 1/-10%, 1/-15%, 1/-20%, 1/-25%, 1/-30%, 1/-35%. Take note, that we will be using more negatives than positives. For the Super Forma itself, this should cost twice as much through crafting and is three times as rare compared to the standard Forma, as an End-game item. Think of it as a mild replacement for Helmet attributes. Its a giveaway information. And I'm willing to hear comments, not answers nor insults. Aver
so what you want are modifiers that arent mods but are basicaly mods, however with mods that take away things and give you points, and stronger regular mods?
Freelancer27
so what you want are modifiers that arent mods but are basicaly mods Yes, maybe. But bare in mind, that this does not replace the Mod system, but extending it instead. however with mods that take away things and give you points, and stronger regular mods? Negatives will give the shocking differences in comparison to others, so you don't actually have to be a super hero in the process as you bear a bigger weaknesses compared to those that are default. lightini
I don't think i would want to use those "mods", as to i already am fighting with my weapons to fit the mods i want to in there. but here is my thought on this, what if it was not mods, but formas? instead of giving polarities, it would give stat bonuses? base damage, crit damage, elemental damage, magazine size or reload speed? we are still limited by 8 formas by weapons i think it is a good trade?
