(PSN)j232000
Using either the pack-in PS4 headset or other headsets with the same plug, Warframe won't recognize my mic. Other games work fine, as does PS4 party chat, so it isn't a hardware or PS4 issue.
(PSN)Solo_is_the_name
Haven't talked on warframe yet. Like to see if others are experiencing this as well.
Letter13
It's worked for me in Warframe. Have you made sure the Party Chat doesn't have priority over the game when it comes to mic use?
(PSN)j232000
Yes, it's not that. The mic doesn't work when priority is set to game, or when there's no party active at all (The priority switching does work fine with regard to what I hear over the earpiece, and as mentioned, the mic works fine in party.) (PSN)Strad_37
Hey j232000, Do you own a Playstation Eye? I've had a couple of times where it will try to take precedence over my mic, specifically in Warframe. Try turning off the console, unplugging the Eye from the back of your PS4, and then restarting everything and trying again. Worked for me. I'm using a Turtle Beach headset though so that may not be relevant. Hope it helps!
(PSN)j232000
Nope, no Playstation Eye.
(PSN)k1ll1ng5pr33-NL
There's an in-game option that lets you mute all chat audio. Not sure, but this might also block your chat while it's on?
(PSN)therapiist-_-
I'm having the same problem here.. first I thought my astro a50 wouldn't work for warframe, then i plug in the ps4 headset into the controller and it still didn't work,my chat is enable too.. (PSN)MyTagForHalo
my friend and i frequently have been having this issue. It seems to cut out after completing a mission, and will not reactivate until a new party is created. This is rather frustrating, and it has only seemed to occur after 11.

(PSN)OregonViking
Hey, you guys might need to download a headset app I beleive I saw available on the Playstation Store. Check it out. Best of luck to you.
(PSN)PabloTX
I also have this issue (I can hear others but nobody can hear me) and am now on my 3rd set of headphones trying to fix the issue. All of my headphones work just fine in other games, and possibly this occurred after the 11.5 patch as I used to have no issues with sound. Please help as I am tired of having to text chat while everyone else is talking to me. Edited February 17, 2014 by (PS4)PabloTX
(PSN)KinslayersDawn
I am in the same place; sound but no mic. Please help, or advise, because I am tired of getting chewed out for not having a mic.
(PSN)JimT722
When I play with my brother, the mic will work for like one game. After that it may work fine, not at all, or only for one of us. I hope this gets fixed, its nice to be able to talk reliably without having to call him up on the phone.

(PSN)mtag13
I find that if I am plugged in to the controller before the game is launched it won't work. So I plug in once I am in game and haven't had a problem since. Edited March 11, 2014 by (PS4)mtag13
(PSN)AlPhAViRii
I'm having the same problem with my A50's as well. I get all in game audio. But no chat what so ever. Although I havetried turning my mix amp on and off and sometimes after coming back on iI xcan hear chat for about 10 seconds. Then silence once again. I hope the devs can get this solved as the freebie mic does work but I play on a 22" Asus monitor so all audio is channeled through the freebie PS4 headset.
