Multilingual Chat

I don't know if it was made intentionally, but I cannot see post in russian in chatbox. I cannot confirm if this is a problem with russian only or with other laguages too.

Either way, I think chat should be multilingual, because I'm sure there are people, who wouldn't want to change whole client language just to chat with non-english speakers.

I agree with you. For now english client chat is really uncomfortable to use.

Global chat should stick to english, otherwise it just becomes a clusterfuck.

What could be done though, is add some additional language channels, like you see in many other games.

 

Just please keep the global chat english, it's bad enough as it is at times.

Well, I couldn't care less about global chat. The problem is clan chat and squad chat. Players may use different languages and english client users will see "***** *** ****" instead of an actual phrase.

I believe the option of adding additional tabs for the various other supported languages is a great idea and i support it. I do not however support them changing global chat to multilingual.

They coould add åäö to chat and as well as other letters that are used in other languages.

I agree, it's weird that WF is localized for different areas but you can't communicate in languages of those areas.

Global chat doesn't need to have non-english letters, but it would be near vital for /w and clan chat in my opinion.
