Its supposed to be a bloody level action rifle! The kind of recoil it would give would probably break even a Tennos arm if it was just in one hand (realistically it should, even in warframe). Wallace24 Posted March 3, 2014 Share Posted March 3, 2014 well, we haven't yet had a single and dual (twin, in this case) version of a weapon all come from the dojo labs. dual cestras were researched in the labs, but we got the normal BP from the market. that's not much of an argument against it, but I'm just hoping DE doesn't make that the one to break the trend the marelok seems pretty powerful as is, and twin mareloks would be crazy (if DE felt obligated to increase status and crit chances, of course). but don't the marelok and grinlok require 2 hands to operate? with the lever and all? I haven't used marelok yet because the clan I'm in just hasn't gotten around to it (on a somewhat related note, and off-topic, I'm in the market for a new clan), so I don't know, really, but to me it would be like giving us twin brakks, something of that caliber. akacrid would be a more fitting comparison, with the dojo research aspect Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The first being that the Marelok is already better than the Grinlok in almost every way - making a dual version smells of major power creep to me unless they nerf it into the ground - which would be a terrible idea as well. The second being originality. We have the Grinlok, a relatively original weapon. Then we get the Marelok... Okay it's a smaller version of the same thing but hey we knew it was coming any way and it's still pretty cool. Now with the loom of an Akmarelok.... Do we really need three versions of the same weapon? Come on, there are hundreds of new, interesting, and original ideas out there waiting to be pursued. We should take a look at those, no?
