Chloros - The Gas Warframe (Art Work Included)

Overview

                          Powered by the Green Orb, Chloros wields the power of the mist of dead and brings misery to his foes. - Codex.

Chloros is the trapper frame or survival frame. Although its health and armor are low, but its abilities are useful for CC (* Tear gas is useful when surrounded and Air Balloon is a nice trap.)

 

Behind the scence

 

Why the name 'Chloros' ?

In greek, chloros means green, same colour to the frame's Oracle orb. Chloros also derived from the word

Chlorine, a type of poisonous and acidic gas.

 

Where I got the inspiration?

Seriously I got my inspiration from skunk (not kidding), skunk or polecat defend itself by sparying chemical substances to his enemy. But instead using smelly liquid, Chloros uses gases for both protection and aggression. Chloros default colour is mainly black and white, the signature colour of skunk and the 'air hole' on his helmet look like the ear of the skunk

1st abillity (Tear Gas)

Chloros creates a giant cloud of tear gas to stun his enemies. After released, the gas remains at the place for a short time. 

Energy- 30

Power Range- 6/7/9/10m

Power Strength- N/A

Power Duration- 8/10/12/14/16s

 

2nd abillity (Air Balloon)

Chloros releases a air balloon into the air. After damaged, the balloon starts to expand and explode, knockdown nearby enemies. Elements can be added to the explosion by damage the balloon with elemental weapon.

Energy- 25

Power Range- 2.5/3.5/4.5/6.5m

Power Strength- 10/11/12/13

Power Duration- N/A 

 

3rd abillity (Cloak of Venom)

Chloros cloaks himself with toxic gases. Enemies near him get 100% poison damage.

Energy- 50

Power Range- 1/2/3/4m

Power Strength- 70/80/90/100

Power Duration- 8/10/12/14s

 

4th abillity (Suffocate)

Chloros surround his enemy with a gas funnel. Sucks out the oxygen from his foes' lungs and deal DoT on organic enemy. 

Energy- 80

Power Range- 10/12/14/16m

Power Strength- 400/600/700/800

Power Duration- 3/4/5/6s

 

Additional abillity

Vacuum Chamber - Chloros traps his enemy inside a vacuum air bubbles, organic units get DoT, robotic/mechanical units get trapped.(Non AoE version of suffocate)

4th ability

Suffocate - One-hit KO organic enemies by manipulating the gas around them, making them unable to breath.

 

Edit: Ok, too overpowered, change it so affected enemies will go 'faint' state, their body will lie on the ground, some sort of stun, however a Nekros can desecrate the body without killing them, making Chloros and Nekros a great team synergy.

Lets talk about this once you actually got a full concepts with 4 abilities that are, there and not OP. And while you on it, try thought through numbers and polarity suggestions, design ideas etc.

 

Why do you bother to make a post that has "coming soon" and "under construction", just go do it and then post.

Now that you made a full concept:

2nd Ability seems odd, as shooting the baloon would change the element it is, just like zephs' tornados (which doenst make sence either)

Whilei like the differation of non-organic to organic enemies, making it more viable for grineer, its strange that the second skill basicly works like blind (excailbur).

Make it more unique, or have it more tank abilitiy (similiar to iron skin or the bullet restricting ability of zephyr) then it might be an viable idea :)
