Number 13 And How It Relates To Warframe

The number 13 is considered an unlucky number in some countries.[7] Charles Stewart Parnell had an irrational fear of the number thirteen.[8] The end of the Mayan calendar's 13th Baktun was superstitiously feared as a harbinger of the apocalyptic 2012 phenomenon.[9] Fear of the number 13 has a specifically recognized phobia, Triskaidekaphobia, a word coined in 1911. The superstitious sufferers of triskaidekaphobia try to avoid bad luck by keeping away from anything numbered or labelled thirteen. As a result, companies and manufacturers use another way of numbering or labeling to avoid the number, with hotels and tall buildings being conspicuous examples (thirteenth floor).[10] It's also considered unlucky to have thirteen guests at a table. Friday the 13th has been considered the unluckiest day of the month. [7]

There are a number of theories behind the cause of the association between thirteen and bad luck, but none of them have been accepted as likely.

The Last Supper[edit]

At Jesus Christ's last supper, there were thirteen people around the table, counting Christ and the twelve apostles. Some believe this unlucky because one of those thirteen, Judas Iscariot, was the betrayer of Jesus Christ.

Edit 2:  We can substitute Judas as being number 13.  The cause of the update not being released.

Lucky 13[edit]

In Italy, 13 is also considered a lucky number, although in Campania the expression 'tredici' (meaning 13) is said when one considers their luck to have turned for the worse.

Edit 3:  We all thought Update 13 was coming out.  But it later turned for the worse.

Mythology

Friday the 13th superstitions originated in a Norse myth about twelve gods having a feast in Valhalla. The mischievous Loki crashed the party as an uninvited 13th guest and arranged for Hod, the blind god of darkness, to shoot Baldur, the god of joy and gladness, with a mistletoe-tipped arrow. Baldur was killed and the Earth was plunged into darkness and mourning as a result.

Stop blaming DE.

Stop blaming the fan base.

We must blame the number 13.  13 is the cause of all of this.  How do I know?  By gathering random history and pretending they all coincide together, leads me to believe 13 is the source of the issue.

Thank you.

P.S.  Random Number 13 "facts."

The only people who have any reason dislike Friday the 13th are those who have ties to the Knights Templar. During the French Inquisition the king, Philip "the Fair", sentenced the last acting Grand Master of the Knights Templar and a few other high ranking guys to death. The day the Templar leaders where burned on the steak was the first "special" Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th later became know as a day of unluckiness.
