A "complete" list of suggestions

So i figured we can do a giant thread that compiles everything suggestion related into a list that anyone, dev included to read. The purpose is that it is very easy and clear to what we want to see done to the game, what we feel can be done, and most importantly, realistic expectations. Eventually there will be no long, in-depth, paragrah length explanation on the list as to why it is, but basically a TL:DR version of it. If there is a thread or post about that specific topic, I can link to that if anyone is interested in talking about and looking into that specifically. I'm going to throw in my own right now to kickstart it. Feel free to post your own suggestions and I'll update the list and link it to the post or thread.

That is all I'm going to add for all. I encourage anyone to post your suggestion and I will add them. the catgeories are for organization sake of course, I'll put them in the appropriate place.

A basic rule in giving suggestion, try to give the What, Why and How to your suggestion. What are you suggesting, why it should be done, and how it can be done. So don't expect me to add stuff like, no pay to win, or more weapons, or add PvP without giving the What, Why and How.

Currently the Warframes differences come from their ablities alone. Anyone is good with the sword, gun or whatever. That is really simple but lacking, so here is what I'm suggesting.

Each Warframe will have a unique perk or passive that are grant at rank 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. The purpose of that is to give each Warframe a bigger difference in combat, to spice things up and add a bit more depth when considering what kind of mod you want to put into your Warframe. Also to avoid mastery kind of depth, so no Excalibur good with sword but bad with guns kind of thing.

I'm going to give a few example as to what type of passives I'm talking about, it is only the concept, balancing is not the issue here. For Example.

Excalibur - Melee attacks have a X% chance to slice through multiple enemies.

Ash - Deal bonus damage after activating an ablitiy.

Ember - Killing an enemy have a X% chance to unleash a fire nova around herself, burning anything that it hits.

Volt - Have a chance to deal eletric damage to attackers.

That's the idea of it. It should be quite simple to add. Plus it add a bit of flavor and uniqueness to the skill tree.

I like the idea of finding documents with information on the story, so i would suggest adding something like this:

"Terminals with lore infomartion when hacked" You would have to stray from the mission path to find these tough, prompting you to explore extra areas on a mission.

So right now we pick up power orbs to gain energy, and unless you have an artifact, that is the only way. Whats good about that is you cannot just spam ablities, hide in cover and do it again. You have to make a decision, if you want to use it now, or save for later. Also to reduce the possiblity of chessing the system.

But the problem with that is it is not as fun when you are not even sure if you'll need it later, if you will pick up any power orbs, or if your teammate got hold of the orbs before you. So here is what I suggest.

Allow mutliple ways to regain energy. A very small amount from kills, kill assits, or even hits. Anything combat related should give a tiny bit of energy. Instead of a energy regen that can be used to cheese the system, you'll need to get off cover and risk yourself to gain them. The more energy a player gets, the more they can pull off moves like super jump or speed to complement their actions more often. It longer be things you cast when you are bored, or in a pinch only. It becomes part of the slicing and shooting.

Id like to sujest replacing the current one hit kill unavoidable grenades that are currently used by enemys (if you are thinking you have never seen a grenade, but have died randomly from screen flashing red once and all your sheild and HP suddenly depleating instantly that was a grenade, they just happen to be an invisable hitscan that instakills you anytime the AI decides to do its stupid arm throw animation)

and replacing it with a sort of techbomb, one of the higher end infested units blur your sight in a cool way when you get to close I would make it so the grenade puts you into this state for 5 seconds or just redo the whole mechanic, cause right now an insta death is not cool.

exactly, im sick of getting cheap scated by those damn grenades we have right now, they just kill you outright having a stun grenade means that you dont instantly die, but are still at a disadvantage so you have a chance of getting away

Come to think of it, the purpose of the grenade is to either flush out the players or to punish them for hiding in cover too long. Concussive would only be able to serve that purpose if the AI is smart enough to take that advantage when it hits

got a name for the grenade there called Enferon gas grenades and where in dark sector sort of AOE timed denial to keep you out of certain cover, the effect is still ingame as some infected use it just need the gas effect for the grenade applied

Yes I think that would be a nice change to the current grenade without changing its purpose. I'll add that to the list.
