Jiminez_Burial Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 I think it would just be better to allocate stance mods mainly to bosses (common/uncommon stances being low level, and rare or specialized stances dropped from high level bosses), or have a global drop table for the leaders. Just having stances as invasion rewards could be nice as well, or maybe give each weapon class a 'default', weak stance that is earned upon build completion/purchase of a weapon. I would also LOVE to see a lore related 'training mastery' mechanic where a 'teacher' in a new area, or the dojo, could 'train' you in certain melee weapons. He might give you challenges to complete while running a mission, or you could 'bribe' them with a decently costly amount of plat (Stances attained this way could not be tradable). Stances are awesome, but after the 800th+ time of killing an enemy type looking for a stance, the grind takes its toll. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Vitras Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 I think nothing should be done. Unless you mean the stances be removed from enemy drop tables then add it to the alert cycle then maybe. Because then they'd be treated like the auras for the 'frames, which are kind of the same same type of mod anyway. But the general population (of Warframe) who think stances are too hard to get: Haven't you tried getting other rare mods? They're called rare for a reason, friend. Just that everyone wants a specific one right now. In a couple of weeks, many of the uncommon ones will be plentiful enough, as well as a couple of the rares. That said, some of the uncommons will most likely still be a bit rarer than they ought to be, due to being on specific mobs like Leech Ospreys, but that could be addressed by adding them to the drop tables of a more commonly killed mob as well. Edit: Though, just for the record, I am in favor of the uncommon stance mods being sold in the market for credits, with the one for Skanas being on the low end and Nikanas at the high end, with the others in between. LukeAura Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 I think it's a possible option.Just make them run off their own cycle even so they don't dilute the normal cycle of rewards, and I'd actually suggest keeping them as enemy drops so they would work like nightmare mods.
