Why Is The Dragon Nikana Only 1 Color?

I don't care how small this detail is, but why are 3 out of the 4 color option all centered on the scabbard, the least important part, while the sword itself is only 1 solid block of color? You had the regular Nikana just fine, DE. What happened for the Dragon version?

IMO the Dragon Nikana wasn't supposed to be released yet.

You know that flag thingy in the point of the scabbard? That thing wasn't there when i bought my Dragon Nikana when it was called Nikana and it had the same icon as the regular Nikana. Then they released the hotfix that changed its name and icon, and that flag thingy appeared there.

My theory is that the Dragon Nikana slipped through a crack in the U13 but it wasn't supposed to be released just yet. If you look closer, you can see those wrappings in the handle that are colored in the regular Nikana but in the Dragon Nikana they are the same color as the whole blade, if the Dragon Nikana was supposed to be a whole solid piece then why those wrappings in the handle are there? The normal Nikana also have some color-able details that the Dragon Nikana doesn't.

I think the weapon is unfinished, that's why... But so many people bought it with platinum that they had to do something about it.

well, the Dragon Nikana is Nikana Prime Stat Creep edition - so i'm not surprised that like many 'special' versions of items, it's Color customization is subpar.

Yup, where there is stat creep there is lack of color customization.

Am I really the only person who LIKES this? I set mine to a soft white and the whole thing looks like it's carved out of Ivory or something. It's wicked. Maybe I'd like it if they used the energy color for the blade edge, even while not channeling, but overall I'm very happy with the way it looks solid. The model is not boring or flat, it has lots of features to it with their own appearance.

I would however prefer that the Orokin sugatra match the color of the similar looking dangly bit on the back of the scabbard.

You probably are.

In my attempts to mimic Jetstream Sam, I tried to color my Dragon Nikana's blade red... except it also colors the handle the same color, making it look like a giant toy sword.

Jetstream sam was using a muramasa, a very long tachi sword, bladed side facing down, and its sheath also included a trigger and a magazine, making it explode. Did you really think it would be mimiced in warframe?

White, Black, and Greys are the only colors I've found that I can work with for the D.Nikana. Unfortunately, that doesn't fit my color schemes.
