Hello! What are your plans to reduce RNG and grind? Particularly in the void for Prime parts and the stance mods? How about ability and stance mods being shifted to the market?

Speaking of RNG and grind: What's the comment on the low drop rate of Delta beacons, and impossibly high drop rate of the rest? 

 

In addition, with the advent of melee 2.0, what's your take on adding more skill-based core mechanics into the game? The handspring mod is one that has been ignored for ages because of it takes up mod space for little returns. Is it possible to take a look at what mods could be made into core mechanics, and retire those mods? 

 

This would also solve drop table dilution with mods no one wants.

Question 1: Isn't it a concern that stances will be too much work to add at any kind of regular interval? I recall how the Ash bladestorm rework was ultimately canned/modified because adding new animations for each weapon required too much labour, and I wonder how the stance system didn't get canned for the same reasons.

Question 2: What's the next "Big One" project shaping up to be?

- Any progress on the focus system?

 

- As we had two "2.0"-projects already (melee 2.0 was a huge success in my opinion), is there another one in the planning? Maybe "Warframe abilities 2.0" or something similar?

 

- Has the idea of the corpus freeze ray been dumped and exchanged with the new electro rifle or will the weapon you showed several livestreams ago be taken into the game? There are some damage types that dont have their own weapons yet, freeze is one of them.

1) How do you feel about U13 and Melee 2,0? There was, and still is, an overwhelming amount of negative feedback coming from the players. Are you planning on using that feedback you get from the Melee 2,0 Feedback Megathread? 

 

2) Why are the heavier melee weapons, like Gram, so weak compared to most single/dual hand weapons? Shouldn't they be the heavy hitters of the bunch and not the pushovers? Their slow blows should be devastating!

 

3) Warframe is going down a path of heavy grind and thick RNG walls.. is this really the way you want to take?

 

4) What was the motivation behind lowering the amount of experience gained from Dark Sectors? Were people having too much fun?

 

5) When are your focus going to shift towards the Infested? They are rather boring to fight, got lots of recolored models and all of that. They could use a major makeover.

 

6) Are you planning on making rewards a little more.. rewarding? You only get mad when you get a Orokin Cell at 40 minutes of T3 Survival and similar stuff. It ain't cool. RNG must be tweaked. Smarter. Also, why doesn't Defense rewards stack yet? Defense is like THE MOST unrewarding game mode in Warframe.

 

7) Stances and new combos were the main thing that people got hyped over in the wait for Melee 2,0. What exactly made you decide that they should be really hard to get? Shouldn't they have been unlocked from the beginning? Considering they are honestly a core part of the game. Pulling off sick combos, being really freaking cool and do tonnes of damage.

 

8) Why did you only add 1-2 combos per stance? It did sound like each stance would offer a great variety of new awesome combos, not.. just one.. or two at best. Don't tell me you plan on adding more stances in the future with just 1-2 real combos each..

 

9) What happened to the parkour that this game was so awesome about when I joined over one year ago? Right now, the closest thing to "parkour" in Warframe is the wallrun boost and zorencoptering, which are both just bugs being exploited.

4 Questions:

 

1. Will the transition attacks make it into a future update? 

(showcased in a previous stream, after slide melee you could follow up with a new melee attack) 

 

 

2. Are Ash's Wrist Blades regarded as a placeholder? 
(In "The Call" PS4 Trailer, Ash used Heat Swords for bladestorm, he was then given wristblades) 

3. Will we get more combo's per stance? 
(some stance mods for the same weapon only have 1 outstanding combo)

4. Will we see melee registration improvements? 
(You can do "Pause combos"  by spamming 'E', if fire rate is fast enough or hold down right-click throughout an entire combo)
 

No more to ask, except I would like to see Scott at primetime sometime, he has mad skillz.

I do have 8 questions:

 

When will the PyroTechnic Ogris (Napalm's Weapon)  be added to the Grineer Lab? Isn't it part of the grineer arsenal? So far, we have had all weapons from all factions in the labs except this weapon. Will it ever come o the lab to complete the Arsenal?

 

Then, regarding dark sectors, I am sure more will come with dark sectors, but will this tie into future end game content such as Corpus/Grineer favors, or is it unrelated?

 

The Dark Sectors Drop rates, I feel, are not competitive to the actual levels on planets. I can run a defense on Uranus or Jupiter and get the same amount of resources. Then, the infested drop rates seem to have dropped drastically. They barely drop any materials. Is there a lower drop rate on infested in general for anything being dropped on dark sectors? I feel they drop barely anything (material wise) compared to other factions

 

The Glaive has lost it's umph since the update. The stagger affect from attempting a charge attack while the weapon isn't equipped keeps you stun locked. Will there be something to boost Glaive's effectiveness? It used to be one of the most powerful melee weapons until last patch. I am sure it will be looked at, but being stun locked trying to throw the Glaive is rather annoying. You can't even throw the weapon if you get shot at.

 

As a Clan Leader it would be nice to keep track of who is donating to the projects within the clan. This allows better management among leadership of promotions, allows those who are clan oriented, to become more active in the clan. Clans have so little to look forward to. Is there anything coming for clans more so in the future?

 

Frost Prime immortal skin covers the whole point of him being a prime. The skin covers the gold layout for which is my main reason for not using immortal skins or alternate helmets on primes. Is there a fix for this in the future?

 

Will there be a update to giving prime warframes passives? (IE rhino prime's speed, excal primes shield recharge)

 

Frost's 1st ability could use a rework. Like a instant (dont let it affect bosses) death freeze or a AOE freeze utility, and remove the HP damage limit to that ability. Is that a possible rework?

When can we expect a elemental mods standardization?

 

They used to be really good by their proc effect alone. You could stun lock enemies with electric and slow them with ice always, this now comes to a percentage and the percertage is too low in most of the cases, you guys at DE should standarize this mods. They had a reason to deal less damage and we all know it, but your system changed and your elemental mods should hve too.

As I'm sure you might be aware, the Dark Sector system has been met with a lot of criticism upon its release. I think it might be safe to say that the mechanic is still in a beta stage and will have more improvements and additions to make it more entertaining as an endgame mechanic. Taking in all the feedback you have received from players, what is your current vision for a complete and more entertaining Dark Sector system in endgame?

I'd like to ask... As of now, Bladestorm has been buffed, with it's hit count being added to the overall after melee 2.0, expanding Ash's comboing capacity. The thing is, is there any plans for making the hit count combo buff to work with Bladestorm's damage?

 

EDIT: This just popped into my mind, and I think it's pertinent... I own a great deal of melee weapons, and I've been noticing that few of them have stance polarities different from all of the stance mods available for them at the present moment. Is that some form of foreshadowing?

 

Also, I'd like to know... How does mod rarity scaling works? We know that higher leveled enemies are more likely to drop rarer mods, but how does that work for real? For example, mod X has Y% chance to drop at level 1. It will have Z% at level 10, and Z²% chance at level 20? Does mission level have any impact on this? How does all that data works with the RNG?

A few questions, not like these will be asked anyway but here goes:

1. How come so many things went broken with U13?

 

2. Will there ever be test servers so people can actually TEST the stuff before it gets released, rather than being fixed days later after the update?

 

3. When is the grind being reduced (all the promises)

 

4. Will we also get elemental damage mods for frames?

Rhino his stomp does toxic/fire/radiation damage.

I think it would be good if you could introduce mentors - high mastery tenno tanking low level mastery or no level mastery player through their paces. Showing them how to play, what to do, where to go. But only being allowed to see the planets and locations that their students sees, that way you dont get taxi rides. I have helped a number of players through their paces and they are still playing the game now and enjoying it - which is the whole point. Also, they level faster coz of the close proxcimity to the mentor. I normally show them how to move correctly in order to keep with when they forge their own path. To use their suits powers correctly in the right situations.

This benefits both new players and old and more importantly the warframe family.
