Can we get a sticky about time-based warframes or something?

Nothing wrong with the idea, but since it's so popular, shouldn't this discussion happen within a single thread? Maybe ppl could come to some kind of consensus instead of a new thread with new suggestions every 2 days?

This is just from May...

If I had known there was a thread out there regarding a time-based Warframe, I would've looked at it and posted my idea there instead of making a new thread. Though I think it's safe to say that, with how popular this idea is, it's about time we had such a Warframe available for play (no pun intended =P).

I think its some sort of ESP, cause I too was thinking about a time-based frame. But Time is pretty limited in what it can do, as powers generally get to "speed up", "slow down", or "replay" things. You can also "displace" time to make it more interesting, but there's a lot of powers that exist already that do similar things to the above mentioned.

Power Concepts:

Seeing Double: Master of Time can be in 2 places at once. Makes a clone that moves away from you in the direction you chose. Clone will use the weapon you had equipped to attack enemies like a spectre would. You can switch places with the clone by hitting the power again.

Affected by Duration (how long the clone exists) and Strength (%based formula. Clone is 75%? of your total stats at max precept rank, 50%? at base precept rank. Can be boosted to 150% by blind rage.)

Replay Attack: Master of Time can make the same thing happen at multiple times in the timestream. This lets him use an attack now to hit you again, but before this attack happened! Double the Hits means double the damage. Simple as that. For the next ? seconds, all of your attacks (and maybe your allies attacks) are doubled.

Possible effects could be:

SuperMultishot: +100% attacks at normal ammo costs - because it doubles your multishot mods too, so you get double your bullets

Double all your attack stats: Because 2 attacks hit twice as hard. 2x base damage, 2x crit chance, 2x status chance! (possibly easier to implement)

Uninterupted Flow: Master of Time can successfully budget his time appropriately. He can use seconds from the past and seconds from the future to do things like reload and stand back up now, meaning he doesn't have to waste his now time with things like that. For ? seconds, Master of Time can instantly reload. If he runs out of bullets, the automatic reload is instant as well, meaning he never has to stop firing. Additionally, knockbacks and knockdowns don't do much as he can stand back up BEFORE THEY HAPPEN, making them useless. Shields begin re-charging immediately after being hit, and his stamina bar will re-fill after being fully depleted. However, all these benefits are not without cost. The power of displacing this much time gives the Master of Time quite the headache, and he has to take a moment to re-orient himself to NOW once the power is complete. After a brief dizzy spell, he is ok, and ready to resume being the uber-ninja.

For the duration:

- skips reload timers

- immune to knockdowns

- skips status effect timers (they wear off instantly)

- constant shield recharge

- stamina refills instantly when depleted

- gets dizzy when the ability ends

Aegis of Temporality: Places a time-shield on himself and allies. The extra seconds feed into his allies to give them the effects of Uninterupted Flow.

Stop: Master of Time can steal a person's seconds, causing them to completely freeze in place. They stand perfectly still, as if frozen, but continue to take damage as normal while they cannot move. All damage they take while stopped occurs instantly upon their time resuming. Tenno are resistant to this power, meaning they are drastically slowed instead. Boss characters who are as special as Tenno can also gain the Tenno resistances. (should increase impact damage by a % to encourage "Hammer Time" afterwards)

Hammer Time: Master of Time uses time to have the very environment attack his foes. He can speed up gusts of wind to make them gale force, or he can stop the time of air just in front of your face so you feel like you run into a brick wall. He could cause your weapon to jam and backfire, or cause your boots to stop and make you trip. Any way he chooses to cause you pain, its all blunt force trama. He'll do Impact damage or Blast damage, or maybe both at once if he's especially cruel.

Instant 1000 Years of Pain: Getting old sucks. Getting aged 1000 years instantly usually kills you. If it doesn't, then all the things you had on you are much less effective than they used to be. Your guns bullets crumble, your armor corrodes and falls apart, your shield emitters malfunction at increasingly reduced capacity, and even your body begins to fail you. Master of Time will generally take a moment to prepare this attack, as it requires more than a bit of concentration. Then, you are old before you know it. The attack applies a bevy of status effects which are what kills you in the end. Cold, Toxic, and Slashing procs represent your aged body rapidly failing you. Puncture, Corrosion, and Magnetic procs represent your gear failing you. These procs occur every tick of the ability. Viral proc occurs every 2 ticks of the ability. Blast procs occur every 4 ticks of the ability. The longer the enemy is effected by the attack, the more procs the enemy gets, until they die or the duration is over.
