Ability Mods Should Be Removed From The Mod Pool

And should instead come with a warframe and not be sellable. Similar to the new armor pieces, they ould simply sit in your inventory slots, and be used only to be equipped on their warframe. This would clear up the mod pool, and balance the RNG when farming rare mods. Just a thought.

Yes, but I'm talking about when you are grinding and see a rare mod, and it turns out to be a warframe ability mod. It is quite annoying and happens far too much.

The Warframe ability mods to come with the Warframe and if you have that Warframe you cannot have less than one of all of that Warframe's mods in your inventory.

 

There is no reason Venoms should be dropping like candy.  You will never need more than 7 of them, or, you know, the 5 fusion cores you could have gotten in their place.

 

In other words, I completely agree with you.  Get those useless mods outta here!

Pretty sure I remember hearing that abilities are going to be moved to all be dropped from Tenno Specters exclusively.  This would explain why none of Hydriod's abilities drop anywhere, as they are just not bothering to place something that will be moved to another spot within a single major patch.   Would also explain why Helios doesn't have his abilities drop either.

The devs dont plan to do this anytime soon, they said they dont want to because how would you get a less ranked one without some mod downgrading system?

Create a power slider just for Warframe powers. The Warframe powers are stuck to the relevant Warframe, meaning said Warframe powers cannot be removed, but can be deactivated and activated at will. The power(s) that is/are deactivated will not consume Mod power until activated. The mod cost of these Warframe powers if this change happens will be the same as the current mod cost of Warframe powers when equipped under the Warframe power polarity (0 for Power 1, 2 for Power 2, 3 for Power 3, 5 for Power 4 [at Rank 0]). 

 

Justification: The Warframe powers are integrated into our systems, and we can alter and fine-tune the systems to our liking, meaning that the powers can be increased/decreased/deactivated based on what we want with our systems (Of course, the power slider becomes available once the player has ranked up a Warframe power by at least one level). The power slider cannot go over the maximum fusion level of the Warframe power (e.g.: A player has a Level 1 Venom. With the power slider, the player can only slide between Level 1 and Level 0).

They should be put in the market for credits

 

They should be made into unique unsellable cards with adjustable rank that are shown in your collection of mods, come with your warframe, and are not dropped from enemies.

 

 

Yes.Its THAT easy to help fix the already crummy and diluted loot pool.

and another one of these threads....I agree somewhat unless you make it another screen and mod selection for abilities so it doesn't affect your Warframes mod points then im cool with it.  Just give us more abilities to use with our frames and allow another customization screen for it. It is redics to have to unequip abilities due to their "uselessness" than it be another customization screen. That way you can still adjust your ability sets how you want them rather than not having a ability equipped....so dropping abilities from the mod tables with this in mind would be a plus 1. I am 50/50 till they actually allow customization on our warframes 6 slots vs. 8 on weapons.
