No More Waiting For Stasis!

Let's remove it entirely please.

Or reduce wait time...

Nobody wants to wait 3 hours just to use a Kubrow.

Is this a way to prolonging Kubrow relevance?

I know you need a form of revenue, but jesus christ, you're sacrificing a good player experience.

OR

At least let us have 1 Kubrow at the ready, while another is recovering from Stasis, once fully recovered, we can take to recently recovered and put the 1st Kubrow back to Stasis. How does this sound?

OR reduce the waiting time?

There's nothing to do, so much waiting.... Plus there's so much unexplained things, we want to try things, and figure things out, but this Stasis wait is spoiling the experience. If you don't want to remove the Wait, then maybe let us know how things work? Like how do Imprints really work, what do you mean DOMINANT STRAINS? Is Lotus Symbol automatically Dominant? Meaning it will automatically, 100% transfer? Is BEEFY body Dominant? Will it automatically, 100% transfer? What about colors and fur patterns? Is is just pure RNG when two fur color/pattern imprints are mixed? Does THAT RNG pick from only those two imprint color/patterns? Or does it pick from the ENTIRE POOL of color/patterns in-game? Does it matter what Gender imprints we use? Let's say example: Raksa Male + Raksa Male? Will it equal to 100% Raksa? And then leave the gender to RNG? What if we use EXACT 2 IMPRINTS FROM EXACT SAME Kubrow (same breed, body type, fur color/ pattern, mark etc) will it AUTOMATICALL equal to EXACTLY the same? Or will RNG kick in and pull everything FROM the entire POOL of attributes in-game? Another question is, can it grow if I take it out for 5 hours and put it back in Stasis?

Will it add up the growth hours or will it keep resetting whenever put back to Stasis?

Either let us know, or let us figure it out - withouth WAITING for hours on every turn.

I agree i dont get the point of stasis, diffrent kubrows are specialised for diffrent missions so does that mean they want us to wait 3 hours before we switch up our missions? its kinda silly really i wonder what was their thought process for this?

I agree that it should be removed, especially for those of us who don't play for three hours at a time. We literally can't play with our Kubrow because it's always in and out of stasis and we're gone by the time we can get it out.

Coolbros aren't meant to be taken for every mission, you have a Sentinel for that. They've mentioned this in livestreams when folks ask what's the difference between Sents vs Cools

"Hey, I bet I know how we can get players to spend money on platinum for Kubrows."

"How? By making fur patterns, breeds, and colors available in the Market?"

"What?! Hell no, we could just make players wait for a really long time every chance that they want to change their Kubrow!"

"...That... Is... GENIUS!!! What would we call this feature?"

*waves hands magically* "Stasis!"

It also makes switching kubrows for different missions completely useless... I have a kubrow that gets vip targets for me so naturally i would want to use if for capture missions.... NOPE cant do that because ill have to wait 3 hours to use the thing, so no use for it now...

All the imprint things are meant to be figured out by the community, like experimentation. This is why no one is saying anything.

Well then they should LET US figure things out. Because that's what we all want to do. To figure it.

But without this pointless wait on Recovery Time.

You know, Kubrow is a live creature, huh? And you put them in Stasis and then you want to take them back at every moment you need it. Switch them like a glove. 3hrs sounds fair enough for me and for recovering from Stasis.

Yes, I'm fine with that. And you have a Sentinels, btw.

Even so, a 3 hour wait to switch is egregious.

Well most I've seen requests its abolishment, not reduction.

EDIT: Here's a thought, Instant extraction option, but with temporary -50% health and damage to signify its premature ejection from stasis. Like telling someone with muscular atrophy to go run a marathon.

No. theres already the health system in place for that. furthermore, the loyalty system also makes sure you keep your kubrow at home when he has died too much. I feel like your blinded by your naievity do you agree with waiting 3 hours for a diffrent kubrow? theres a kubrow SPECIFICALLY desinged for capture missions, another for exterminate and another for survival/defense. what if im playing capture with my capture kubrow then i want to do survival CANT because i have to wait 3 freaking hours... like wtf man and then my kubrow keeps on dying and his loyalty goes to zero and hes screwed. yeah sentinels are there and all but at the end of the day why give me a new feature that was marketed as one of the main aspects of the update and then timelock it? like really DE... REALLY?

snip

Well perhaps they're also designed to not be switched out immediately, thus trivialising any penalties one coolbro has suffered by simply switching to another.

And there's nothing stopping you from doing the Survival mission with whatever Coolbro you currently have out, or bringing a sentinel instead. You're the only one who says that you must have a specific coolbro for that specific mission type.

We don't play Warframe for realism. This is a game about space ninjas that use magical space ninja powers, and that's what I like about it. That whole explanation for stasis doesn't do anything to pull me further into the world, all it does is add a timer to something that doesn't need it. Besides, I seem to remember that when you're first awoken from your stasis chamber that you were able to immediately start fighting the Grineer that were trying to capture you.

or add a forced DNA degeneration as penalty for rushing it out

You missed the part where we knelt feebly as Vor bugged us, and only sprang into action when the Lotus overcharged our Warframe.

Bit harsh, but I like it. That mission better be worth the stabiliser shot and a groggy pup. Edited by Shion963

remove the stasis cooldown completely, it is $&*&*#(%&.

use the other side of the ship for a second kubrow spot.

let us see what kubrow it is from the egg already. don't put stupid RNG into this, esp. when i already hear the chance isn't 1/4 for every kind.

most issues can be resolved by this.

keep the long hatching and maturing times, that's alright.
