Drifter — Gunslinger Warframe Fan Concept

 Description

A lone wanderer, a stray spirit, she wanders the space seeking injustice. Other Tenno often shun her, for she have her own code of honor which have some deviations from the Tenno code. She favours gunplay, playing "catch the bullet" with her prey. A dust cloud, formed from millions of nanomachines covers this ominous warframe's exploits, leaving only death on her wake. She was forgotten, but re-emerged in the time of need. And this world is another gauntlet for her to run...

Idea

Well, there are too many frames that specialize on close quarters combat or elemental attacks, but how about one centered on gunplay?

Abilities

 

Concussive shot


Drifter releases custom projectile via nanomachine sling, delivering heavy hit on targeted enemy and all who surround him. Projectile don't do much damage but guarantee prolonged knockdown to its main target and have a high chance to flinch foes caught into AoE
Damage 50 / 100 / 125 / 150
AoE radius: 1 / 1 / 2 / 3

Mod effects:
Power — affects damage
Range — affects power range and AoE radius

 

Ricochet


Drifter orders her nanomachines to improve her firearms. Every shot fired will ricochet to random enemy in range, delivering partial damage of original shot. Bullets can ricochet off enemies and hard surfaces. Launcher-type weapons are unaffected by this ability.
Ricochet damage 20% / 35% / 50% / 65% of original shot
Ricochet radius 2 / 3 / 4 / 5
Ability duration 10 / 12 / 15 / 18

Mod effects:
Range — affects Ricochet radius
Duration — affects duration

 

Dust Devil


A swarm of nanomachines are ejecting from warframe, forming a protective cloud which will travel with Drifter. Nanomachine swarm will try to block and dismantle projectiles entering the cloud, destroying bullets, rockets and laser shots. Each destroyed projectile will be repurposed and transformed into ammo for any allied Tenno in the cloud. Nanomachines are too weak to do damage, but will hinder enemy movement
Power range 4 m
Power duration 8 / 10 / 12 / 15
Ammo regen is based on a number of projectiles absorbed
Enemy slowdown 50%
Chance to block projectiles: 25% / 25% / 50% / 75%

Lead Storm


Don't bring a knife to a gunfight, Tenno!
Drifter orders her nanomachines to improve and overcharge weapons of her allies. At start, allies' firearms will be instantly reloaded, then they receive an increase in firing and reload speed. Velocity of projectiles are increased too: not-hitscan ones will be speed up. High-velocity projectiles deal slightly more damage, have increased critical strike chance and punch-through.
Buff range 15 / 20 / 22 / 25 m
Projectile velocity +30% / +50% / +75% / +100%
Increased firearm damage 5% / 10% / 15% / 25%
Increased critical chance 10% / 25% / 50% / 75%

Punch-trough 0.5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 m (will not work for launcher-type weapons)
Duration 15 / 15 / 20 / 25

Mod effects:
Range — affects buff range
Power — affects projectile velocity and firearms damage
Duration — affects duration
