Update Failed Error_Internet_Timeout

it keeps saying this and not downloading the latest update please help me (I did get it to download but then it never started and then exited the launcher).

It says checking for updates then it says this it also says "content servers are temporarily unavailable"

it checks for updates for about 5 minutes then these messages pop up, "UPDATE FAILED ERROR_INTERNET TIMEOUT" and "content servers are temporarily unavailable"

I have this same problem, it started today, I played yesterday just fine. If I find a way to fix it, I'll reply here.

It seemed my computer had a virus, after I solved that I checked my game cache on Steam and had to redownload 5.8 gigabytes. After finishing the download the message disappeared but the launcher would get stuck when verifying files, so after a few tries I just left my computer alone for a few hours and when I got back, the game was updated and working.

didn't work ;( and I really like this game I have spent about £15 on this game and its not working now I had this 2 weeks and then it breaks and its been 1 week since it broke warframe just help us people are getting annoyed at this!
