But every time I enter a mission it runs like normal for a couple minutes then the game crashes and I get a popup saying Evolution Engine experienced an error appears. The66Monkey Posted February 26, 2015 Share Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) If it was a long time since you ran it i would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the entire thing. You can try verifying the game files and then run an optimize if you want, with some luck that might fix it. *EDIT: thinking about it, since warframe is so large you should probably try verify first, it is done thru the launcher in settings as i am sure you are aware. UkyoSonoda Posted March 7, 2015 Author Share Posted March 7, 2015 Happens in every mission regardless of type, location, tileset, faction, story, alert, etc. Ive also tried numerous settings changes as well remembering odd issues from the early beta days and none of that has resolved the issue either. IDK if this is possibly something specific to windows 8 or not. The PC I played this on previously was much lower spec and still running windows vista and didn't have any issues but I cant test to see if that system does the same thing since it had a mobo failure that resulted in me getting the current PC. Aatrus Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 This exact problem has been happening to me. The only thing is it started when i disabled both directX 10 and 11 in the launcher. I did that because my PC has really nice specs but the performance does not show. With both of those off, performance drastically increases but the evolution engine crashes a few minutes after going in game. I messed around with other settings like multi-threaded rendering and 64-bit but nothing helped. I hope there is a way that I can keep both directX10 and 11 off without the game crashing.
