Background

Boondock Highlanders was created by five former United States Marines for Mech Warrior Online.  We were let down by the development of this game, and two of our founders returned to Warframe and started building a dojo for themselves.  They achieved full research in the labs, and wanted something more.  These two Marines are now the Warlords of the Boondock Highlanders.  We decided to open up recruitment to form better void groups, and push our times and waves.  We maxed out our Ghost Clan and decided to build into a Shadow Clan.  We've reorganized our dojo, and are finishing the final touches, and then will move up to a Storm Clan.  There are no plans to move beyond Storm Clan size.  We are open to listening to alliances, but are not actively seeking to join one.  We have built our own solar rails, and are preparing to launch our own.  We are looking forward to seeing our Excaliber wearing our tartan on some dark sectors.

Requirements

No mastery requirements:  We have found some very active and wonderful people at low mastery, as well as folks specializing in specific builds not interested in mastery rank.  All we require is activity, and joining the TS3 chat is a big part of that.

Activity:  20 days of inactivity will have you removed from the clan, unless you receive the okay from an officer or warlord.

Maturity:  No children.  Our TS3 has some foul language.  The only real rule we have:  We do not allow taking the Lord's name in vain.

 

Structure

Squire: Entrance rank. Squires learn the fundamentals of Warframe tactics from the Knights.

 

Knight: Requirements for a knight are mastery rank 5, and a good activity level. Must be connected to Teamspeak 3. Can invite new Squires.

 

Engineer: Responsible for the maintenance of the dojo and solar rails. Can deploy solar rails. Can invite new Squires.

 

Macer: Responsible for the conduct of clan members. Can expel members from the clan. Must be active on Teamspeak 3, have a certain level of maturity, and the ability to confront clan members about their lack of decent behavior. Can invite new Squires.

 

Herald: Heralds must be active on the clan forums, Teamspeak 3, and are responsible for general clan personnel maintenance. They are considered human resources.  Can invite new Squires.

 

Duke: Dukes are high level officers, given all abilities and responsibilities within the clan. They are second only to the Kings.

 

King: There are two Kings of the Boondock Highlanders. Tyr_Sallus and ajf412. They are the founders of the clan, and will be the only Kings of the Boondock Highlanders. No other members will acquire this rank.

In summary, this clan is run by United States Marines.  It takes quite a bit to agitate us enough to kick you out, so if you find yourself removed, it was because you deserved it.  Don't be a turd, and you should be fine.

Our first solar rail is up.  We are trying to take Sinai > Jupiter from the Lords of the East.

 

We guarantee 5% and 5% tax rates on all our solar rails.  Consider supporting us, and everywhere we have a rail, "5 and 5, guaranteed."

 

Clan members get a rate of 1% and 1%.  So if you're looking for even lower rates, consider joining the ranks of the Boondock Highlanders, and help us take some rails.

Final stats for our first solar rail.  Not too shabby for a test run.  We got Lords of the East down to 85%.  We started paying 1k battle pay at about 7 hours in.  We forced Lords of the East to pay upwards of 45,000 for battle pay.  Must have started to get a little scary.  We'll be farming specters and battle pay for a bit, so we can make a decent payout on our next attempt, which will be our first real attempt.
