These things cost a lot of resources to craft for the mediocre performance you get. For grineer gorgon or ignis Gorgon Prisma is what the gorgon dreamed of being like, any mods to this beast will make the soma have run for its money. Ignis needs some buffs like increased cone of effect, making fire hazards on stuff, napalm trail (flamethrowers shoot flammable liquid that doesnt completely burn out but instead covers the target with the liquid sticking to their skin and giving a 100% fire proc. the way ignis is right now is like it uses grineer volatile farts as fuel to create fire). Right now it gives flamethrowers a bad name. For infested Paracyst and Embolist, never knew it existed. I havent seen either two in a while now, Rare as a Braton and lato vandal. For tenno Vectis and Sybaris Both are good weapons but have the potential to be greater. Vectis needs an insta kill on headshots or at least a very large multiplier. (PSN)icysuspect Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 The Ignis needs an augment AND a buff. The thing does no damage, has high ammo consumption and no range. What the hell is the point of it unless you have an Ember? Even then it barely becomes usable for any real content. The base damage and status chance needs to be doubled, and even then it isn't great by any means, but at least some fun could be had with it outside Ember/Accelerant.
