Possible Fix: Constantly Dropping From Squad

I never had too much trouble in the past with hosting or maintaining my connection in squad until what I believe coincided with the release of 16.0.

 

Since then it would take around 5-10 seconds to join a squad and I would drop from a squad roughly every 10-30 seconds until we started the mission, then I'd be fine. I tried a bunch of different "fixes" until I found one that worked.

 

I tried:

* Restarting the game

* Joining a squad instead of hosting

* Restarting my PC

* Restarting the router

* Changing my desired ports from with Warframe

* Confirming I had uPnP on, then off

* Tried forwarding the specific ports

* Tried with my PC as DMZ

* A bunch of other stuff I've probably forgotten.

 

The only change I have made that appears to have worked is changing my "Advertisement Time To Live" setting to 40.

It was set to 4 by default and it originally made no difference at 10. I haven't tried it at any other level and everything appears to be working well. I've had it working for two days now.

 

 

Leave me some feedback if you try this and it also makes a difference.
