[Warframe Concept] Caedis

Name: Caedis

Idea: "Caedis is a highly mobile and regenerative Warframe, but lacks in raw durability. Her abilities are based on morphing into various organic entities. As a Warframe with great power and speed she can easily make up for her lack in range."

Passive:
Metabolic
Caedis is capable of running farther on walls and at a faster rate.

Abilities:
1. Seed
Caedis plants a seed in front of her, soon maturing into a living pulp on the ground, breeding larvae to attack her enemies for as long as the pulp lives. Warframes can enter the pulp to regain health each second at the cost of their own energy.

2. Metamorphosis
Caedis morphs into an immobile pulp, capable of attacking enemies with immobilizing area attacks. She purges her shields but increases her health.

3. Corrupt
Caedis enters the body of a targeted enemy, controlling its movement for a duration. Once the duration expires, Caedis leaves the body, stunning the enemy, now standing at the enemy's current position, weakening the affected enemy. If the enemy dies before she leaves, Caedis will suffer half of her current health as damage.

4. Scourge
Caedis becomes scourge, inflicting anguish upon all enemies in the area. Enemies in the area will suffer damage each second. Caedis and all allies in the area regenerate health.

Caedis is capable of running 50% farther on walls and at a 15% faster rate.

Morpher
When Anguis is at max energy, her shields recover at a +100% rate. If Anguis has no shields, her energy recovers at a rate of 1% a second (Does not stack with/overrrides Energy Siphon. Stacks with all other mods).



Abilities:
1. Seed
Caedis plants a seed in front of her, soon maturing into a living pulp on the ground, breeding larvae to attack her enemies for as long as the pulp lives. Warframes can enter the pulp to regain health each second at the cost of their own energy.

Cost: 25 (affected by power effiency mods)
Range: 25m (not affected by power range mods. Multiple Pulps connect, making possibilities for large AoE. Larvae move at about 2m a second. Larvae get +50% base speed per additional pulp)
Pulp health: 100/150/200/250 (affected by power strength mods)
Larvae damage: 20/25/30/40 Viral damage (affected by power strength mods. Cannot proc. If a larvae cannot find a target within 2s it dies (Note find, not reach))
Max amount of larvae: 4/6/8/12 (not affected by power strength mods)
Max amount of pulps: 1/2/2/3 (not affected by power strength mods. Trying to create a pulp more than maximum will destroy the one first created)
Duration: 10/15/20/25s (affected by power duration mods)
Duration until matured: 2s (not affected by power duration mods. Cannot mature more than 1 pulp at a time)
Breeding time: 0.75s (not affected by power duration mods)
Health regen: 1/2/3/5% (not affected by power strength mods. Warframes are immobile and immune to damage while inside, but can't perform any actions except leave the pulp. Costs the Warframe 5% of max energy each second (not affected by power effiency mods). Only one Warframe at a time. Removes aggro from Warframe. Costs 25 energy to enter and gain first regen (not affected by power effiency mods))
Cast time: 0.5s (affected by power cast mods. Mobile while cast. Can't perform other actions. Must be cast while on ground)
Animations:
Casts a seed on the ground in front of her. It will visually mature into a fully grown pulp. When a warframe enters, the pulp opens while they go inside. The warframe is immune to damage)
Ability Mod Suggestion:
Hardened Chitin: Pulps have 15/30/45/60% more health.

hmhm, if 4 of these... "anguis" were on a team and spammed larvae....

now thats horrifying.............for the enemy and possibly the match server

Now now, I'll explain what my vision for this ability is, from a technical standpoint.

I know that some hosts could experience problems if 4 Anguis spammed Seed. Therefore the larvae are not to be seen as entities by themselves. The Pulp is the entity. The larvae are just 'projectiles' - They have no hitboxes (special 'projectiles' as normal missiles do have hitboxes, and can be destroyed), are 'homing' (following a direct path towards a set enemy, but circling around obstacles), are a bit slower than normal missiles (larvae are crawling). These 'missiles' will then they hit the enemy, latch onto it and deliver a damage over time effect, dealing their specfied damage each second. They can't be hit, and can be walked through (no NPC collision). They can only die if the pulp dies, as specified in the description. When an individual target dies, the related larvae move onto the next

EDIT: Also, I forgot to say, it says the max amount of larvae, not 'per pulp'. Sorry if you conceived it that way. Multiple pulps are just to speed up the process of breeding.

Cost: 50 - Channel: 5 per sec. (affected by power effiency mods)
Range: 8/10/12/15m (affected by power range mods)
AoE Radius: 2m (not affected by power range mods)
Damage: 100/170/230/300 Slash damage (affected by power strength mods. 25% proc chance (not affected by power strength mods))
Leech (max HP Increase): 10% for each enemy hit up to a maximum of 60% (affected by power strength mods. Max HP buff also increases current HP by the set percentage. Immediately removed after ability end)
Purge (max Shield Reduction): 100% (not affected by power strength mods. Immediately removed after ability end)
(Attacks immobilize hit enemies for 3s) (not affected by power duration mods)
Cast Time: 1s (Affected by power cast mods. Immobile while casting, must be cast while on ground. Can be deactivated at any time, immediately leaving the pulp, the pulp immediately dying)
Animations:
Caedis transforms into an immobile pulp on the ground she's standing on, capable of attacking enemies with a large impaling tentacle.

2. Draw Blood
Caedis morphs into an immobile pulp, drawing the blood of all enemies around her. She purges her shields but increases her health.

Cost: 50 - Channel: 5 per sec. (affected by power effiency mods)
Range: 8/10/12/15m (affected by power range mods)
Damage: 80/110/140/200 Slash damage (affected by power strength mods. 25% proc chance (not affected by power strength mods))
Leech (max HP Increase): 2% for each enemy hit per sec. up to a maximum of 50% (not affected by power strength mods. Max HP buff also increases current HP by the set percentage)
Purge (max Shield Reduction): 10% per second (not affected by power strength mods. Stacks 10 times)
Duration: 2/4/6/8s (affected by power duration mods. After channel finish)
Cast Time: 1s (Affected by power cast mods. Immobile while casting, must be cast while on ground)
Animations:
Caedis transforms into an immobile pulp on the ground she's standing on, drawing the blood of her enemies towards her for the duration of the channel.
Ability Mod Suggestion:
Life Drain: Affected enemies are slowed by 20%.




3. Corrupt
Caedis enters the body of a targeted enemy, controlling its movement for a duration. Once the duration expires, Caedis leaves the body, stunning the enemy, now standing at the enemy's current position, weakening the affected enemy. If the enemy dies before she leaves, Caedis will suffer half of her current health as damage.

Cost: 75 (affected by power effiency mods)
Range: 20/45/45/60m (Affected by power range mods)
Duration: 4/6/8/10s (affected by power duration mods. Immune to damage while in target. Can leave at any time, dealing damage but without stun. Can't make any actions except enemy movement. Removes aggro. Leaves if target dies, taking 50% current health as self inflicted Viral damage. Is not targetable by other enemies, if player action is not seen (the enemies with the target in vicinity, don't have the related player in vicinity at the same time. If seen, the target is targetable by other enemies. Target cannot attack. Cannot take damage from players while corrupted, but saved until ability end (similar to Nyx's Mind Control). Doesn't work on bosses etc., in that case it just functions as a regular teleport)
(Applies a Viral status effect on affected enemy when leaving) (works on bosses etc.)
Stun duration: 3s (not affected by power duration mods. If Caedis gets out of sight from affected target, before stun ends, she is not detected)
Cast time: immediate (is not affected by power cast mods. Takes 0.5s to reach target (Is not affected by power duration mods). Cannot be damaged while casting)
Animations:
Caedis becomes floating blood, quickly bursting inside the target. Blood shader on affected enemy, perhaps. If used on bosses etc., you become blood, bursting to the target and recreating yourself.
Ability Mod Suggestion:
Volatile Corruption: If target dies before or when Caedis leaves, it will leave a 6m radius cloud for 2/4/6/8s, afflicting any enemies with a Viral status effect.


4. Scourge
Caedis becomes scourge, inflicting anguish upon all enemies in the area. Enemies in the area will suffer damage each second. Caedis and all allies in the area regenerate health.

Cost: 100 (affected by power duration mods)
Range: 8/10/12/15m (affected by power range mods. Area does not move with Caedis. Position centered on Caedis position at the time of activation)
Duration: 8/12/12/15s (affected by power duration mods. Cannot be cast again before effect ends. Can be cancelled at any time by pressing the button again)
Damage: 30/60/90/120 Viral damage and 30/60/90/120 Slash damage (affected by power strength mods. Viral cannot proc. Slash has 25% proc chance. Ignores armor)
Healing: 5/10/15/20 Health per second (affected by power strength mods)
Cast time: 1.5s (affected by power cast mods. Immobile while casting)
(Caedis cannot die while marked enemies are alive, but she can still be damaged) (effect wears off if ability ends, either by deactivation or duration end. Bosses etc. can't be marked)
Animations:
Caedis screeches, causing a rain of blood around her. If cancelled, Caedis screeches again.
Ability Mod Suggestion:
Path Of Blood Caedis and all allies move 5/10/15/20% faster in the affected area.

4. Inner Beast - v1
Anguis reveals his inner beast, morphing into a giant worm, launching freely on the battlefield. Shields are deactivated.

Cost: 100 - Channel: 10/9/8/5% energy and max stamina per sec. (Affected by power effiency mods, except stamina cost)
Damage: 150/200/250/300 Impact damage and 150/200/250/300 Corrosive damage (affected by power strength mods. 100% proc chance (not affected by power strength mods))
Shield reduction: 100% (not affected by power strength mods. Overrides effect from Draw Blood)
Base HP increase: 75 (not affected by power strength mods)
Cast time: 2.5s (affected by power cast mods. Immobile while casting. Can be damaged while casting)
Moveset:
Moves underground and behind walls. When attacking, you launch out of the ground, damaging all enemies in your path (when moving you launch about 15 meters frontal, burrowing through any obstacles in your path. If still, you launch directly up, causing a knockback to all enemies within a 6m radius). When blocking, you shake the ground, staggering all enemies in a 10m radius around you (not affected by power range mods). Attacks grant 0.5% max stamina and energy for each enemy hit (is not affected by power strength mods). Cannot be damaged while underground, but channeling the ability costs +100% energy and stamina. Does not deactivate passive. Attack cooldown at 0.75s. Cannot cast other abilities. Cannot regain stamina while blocking. If Anguis runs out of stamina, the ability does not deactivate. Anguis suffers a 2 sec. stun when deactivating without stamina) Can deactivate by pressing button again (deactivates by transforming back over a duration of 1 sec. +10% movespeed while active. Immobile while deactivating)
Animations:
Anguis transforms, slamming onto the ground, screaming in pain. While transforming, Anguis gradually digs himself underground until being entirely underground when fully transformed.


4. Inner Beast - v2
Anguis exercises her inner beast, surging her shields, stunning and knocking back all enemies in the area.

Cost: 100 (affected by power effiency mods)
Radius: 10/13/17/20m (affected by power range mods)
Damage: 100/200/300/400 Viral damage (affected by power strength mods. 100% proc chance)
Shield reduction: 100% (not affected by power strength mods)
Base HP increase: 75 (not affected by power strength mods)
Duration: 6s (affected by power duration mods)
Stun Duration: 3s (not affected by power duration mods)
Cast time: 1s (Affected by power cast mods. Immobile while casting. Cannot perform other actions while casting)
Animations:
Anguis stands still, her shields surging the AoE, lifting all enemies in the air (Disintegrates enemies, recreating them at their new position. Similar visually to Corrupt).
Ability Mod Suggestion:
Affliction: Anguis now selects a target for which to gain the ability's effects, instead of herself. (Includes ALL effects, but the target doesn't have to cast, Anguis does that. Can be cast on both enemies and allies)

Your concept looks interesting, but his ult in kind of OP. Also, could you precise if his powers are affected by duration / range mods (you kind of did but just replace "power" with these) ;)

Please define. Is it a mechanic? Is it a stat? Multiple? Both? And by how large a margin?

 

EDIT: Also, have now written exactly which power modifications affect which aspects of an ability, for your convenience.

 

EDIT2: Also adjusted some stats and functions.

Changed gender from male to female (thought a female stealth type was long overdue, it also better fits the part with creating larvae) ...
