One time glitch? Bladestorm induced freeze

It's basically as the title says. I couldn't submit a bug report as I had to terminate the game process.

To keep it simple, I dropped a bladestorm in an infested mission, after killing an ancient, I returned to normal...except my vision. It was the same sort of distorted effect as when bladestorm is active, so part of my screen was magnified. After about ten or fifteen seconds of running away from the swarm and tripping balls, my game outright froze. This has only happened once, to me so far.
