Flying Bug On Throwing Melee.

It is really tiring to lose a throwing melee every time you throw it to kill something, it will never come back and I have to finish the mission without it or abort it. Even with Quick Return this keeps happening so I'm sure it's a bug; from time to time I find it again in the other side of the map, but it's not like it was flying around killing things. I don't know if it has to do with flight speed mods, but losing a Kestrel on a spy mission is not good.

I just lost it (again) btw

i presume you're talking about the relatively uncommon happening where your Thrown Melee orbits around you in a large circle for N time.

certainly not cool when it just happens. though i'd totally love a Mod that adds something like that on purpose, as a feature!

This happens mostly when using flight speed mods, i assume using both on kestrel would make it go bonkers.

Could be why it never returns...

I've gotten every throwing weapon to 30, and still use my Glaive Prime occasionally and I've only ever had this happen once.
For it to be happening to you "every time you throw it", you must have some really sour luck.

Is this specific only to the Kestrel or something? Glaive Prime is my main melee and i have never lost it to this bug.

It's happened to me with glaive prime.

This actually sounds like fun, when you throw it, it orbits around you  X amount of times based off the number of "bounces" you have it set up for... or something.

I'm not sure if its Kestrel only cause it's the only throwing melee I have,

When that happens usually moving will make it arrive to you, but I'm talking about really losing it. Like, throwing it, seeing it bounce around, fly around a bit more and then completely dissapear. Once I found it on the other side of the map and it wasn't flying around me.

Yeah, I noticed it too, so I left asside Whirlwind and I just use Entropy flight for the syndicate bonus.

Maybe, its really common for me, at least 3 out of 5 missions I have to go around looking for it or have to abort the mission because my Kestrel is gone

ah, if it just never comes back at all, then it probably got 'stuck' in some random corner, and then just flew in place forever.

i've seen it happen myself on rare occasion... but it always seemed to come back in ~30 seconds.

would be really great, it could be like a personal protection Shield that you sacrifice your Melee Weapon to initiate.

orbits around you, staggering close Enemies, possibly even a % Chance to deflect incoming bullets!
