Random Logouts On Extract

So I've been having this problem every so often, but until 16.5 it was much rarer. Now it seems to happen at least once a day and has caused no end of annoyance. It's also not exactly feasible to document - screenshots wouldn't work, and I have no way of capturing video.

 

Anyway, here's the problem.

 

Occasionally, after finishing a mission and getting to extraction, the game will randomly log me out. It seems to happen more often when slide-jumping, portaling, or coptering quickly into the extract point, but happens even when I extract normally. It also sometimes happens after the results screen shows, the moment the timer hits 0.

 

Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, except it's caused me to lose progress on several missions with no possibility of recovery and no crash report. It also sometimes freezes on the loading screen, forcing a restart. Fortunately, I haven't had it fail like this on an extremely profitable Void run or anything of the sort.

 

Still - verifying and optimizing did not help. It did fix some crashes that happened so fast they didn't trigger the reporter, but not this. I haven't had connection failures when this hits, either.

 

In previous patches, I've had this happen from completely different things, too - once, I was logged out after being one-hit-killed by a Toxic Ancient.

 

DE, I'm pretty sure you didn't program your Ancients to belch so hard they also kill the Warframe client, so clearly there's something wrong here.

Please attach your EE.log to a support ticket the next time this happens so we can investigate whats happening.

Where does one find the EE.log file? I see none in my Warframe folder.

 

Also, this isn't a crash - it simply kicks me back to login. So I don't suppose it would create a crash log, unless that file is a running log of all anomalies.

get this issue all the time... i stopped doing long survivals, because wasting 30+ mins on a mission giving no exp or drops is no fun.

 

not sure what exactly is causing the problem but i have tryed using a vpn and this seem to lessen the chance of this happening but does not solve it completely  

 

if this is a network issue is there a chance we can get the ip of one of the servers to do a ping /t test on? if we then see either a long responce or no responce doing a mission were this happonds it could indicate a faulty connection... if not it could indicate that something in the net code is acting up.

I've had similar things happening OP - I also get it a lot in the Arsenal screen, I can send and receive chat messages but the game window itself freezes for about a minute, then boots me to the login screen.

3 times after the last set of hotfixes today the game crashed while in the arsenal putting mods on the newly karak wraith. this happens after completing a mission and entering the arsenal screen. last crash has been around 35 mins ago.

This always happens to me regardless if I do long runs or not even in raid it happens but from my experience if it logs you out in extraction then you will still get the reward once you log in its weird and I'm still waiting on DE to address this issue as it is a very distressing problem.

This thing happened to me once too.

I finished a syndicate interception mission and got my first Self destruct mod. I went to the back of the liset to check it out and the game suddenly logged me out. When I logged un, my progress was lost. No drops and the same mission was playable again, like I haven't completed it yet.

I opened a ticket with the support and it took them more than 20 days to contact me. Of course, they couldn't check it after so much time has passed.

I hope that this doesn't occur to me, I can imagine the fright. Having a manic drop 4 riders and BOOM progress lost.

Ah, right - I forgot to mention it also happens in Arsenal. All the time when I'm just trying to paint a Warframe or fix one or two mods.

 

It kicked me during a mastery test the other day, which was a pain.

this is happening to me for 2 weeks now!

btw this happens to me more that 6 or 7 times a day!

I've lost much recourses because of this including the despair from stalker :'(

Same issue. Sometimes in a Mission, After Extrakt and Most of The Time After Arsenal Or ideling in liset, Or in dojo. Kind of annoying since I can't do S#&$ about it, tried port checking but all systems nominal. Game just doesn't respond going out of the menu and is stuck there, chat working. Shortly after get forced log out. In games just seems like a connection lost and log out, on extraction menu it completes and then instead of loading liset it loads the login screen. On arsenal not sure when, I just change mods or colors and then I can't close the menu and get kicked out after a while.

If i make drastic changes to just about anything, i get booted tot he login screen. it eventually goes away, but its very aggravating.
