this issue is happening with setting on both max and lowest possible with all effects disabled my pc specs are

CPU:AMD A10 6800k Clocked @ 4.1 Quad Core

Ram:8GB DDR3

GPU:AMD Radeon r9 270x OC Gaming Edition 2gb | Latest CCC Drivers Version Catalyst 14.12

Here is a CPUZ Dump of my specs/information | http://pastebin.com/0AcyCSdR

Here is a MSI Afterburner Hardware Monitor Info | http://i58.tinypic.com/28lthrp.jpg

Here Is My Launcher Config (I have tried Multi Threaded Rendering & apart from more CPU usage it does not effect my FPS) | http://i58.tinypic.com/2q2r9qb.jpg

this issue is only recent and has been bothering me the last 2-3 days any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

I would say keep multi-threaded on even if it didn't help your fps because the fps in areas with high numbers of enemies is directly impacted with cpu performance. The fact that the low fps occurs at the lowest AND highest possible settings means that the problem is with the cpu.

Another thing would be to make sure you aren't overheating on the cpu because I couldn't see your cpu temps in your hardware moniter picture. Your gpu temps are good though.

One thing that helped for me was messing with different directx options in the launcher checked or unchecked. Particularly, you should try with directx 10 checked OFF and directx 11 checked ON.

Also, try verifying then optimizing the download cache in the launcher.

You ARE playing at fullscreen at your native resolution when in-game right? The only reason I say this is because I think that windows diverts more resources to fullscreen applications.

For reference, here's what I have:

EVGA GTX 780 SC @ stock

i7-4790k @ stock

16GB DDR3 1333

my cpu temperatures are fine the game is only using 40-60% max with the odd spike into the higher numbers i usually run the game in window mode but i have also attempted fullscreen mode just to test if the issue persists as for CPU resources i have used a CPU park control dist to enables full 100% use of all CPUs and have a application called process lasso that optimizes the executable to run as best as possible prioritizing and managing usage aswell as used MSI afterburner to up my power limiter +20 on my GPU to make sure my card is fully utilized aswell as got my power profile optimized for gaming

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah...I'm not too familiar with process lasso, and I've never really needed something like that. But, if it worked in the past then I don't see why it wouldn't work now.

Going back to before, have you tried different directx options in the launcher? That will make the biggest difference I bet.

Also, are you sure this is only happening on void defense and not other modes in the void with high numbers of enemies like survival?
