The margin within which you'd care to swap weapons for puncture isn't meaningful IMO. Both deal plenty of damage to do whatever you want with the wrong damage type. Dread for overall damage, Cernos for beautiful butterfly wings, Daikyu for utterly useless procs that are never helpful, Paris P if you want to be a ninja turtle... You are counting on the Dread to proc bleed that much? It arguably gets more dps from its slightly higher red-crit rate than it does the bleed procs, but even that doesn't really play into the fact that Paris Prime scales much better against heavy-armor targets (assuming you don't have 4 CP auras). Paris Prime also has a slightly better rate of fire with a better knock time. I hear this line of reasoning quite often, but the reality seems to me to be that Paris P. and Dread are a bit faction dependent short of assuming you have a certain aura. Hatzeputt Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Dread because it does not look nearly as shi* as that primed toilet seat and by buying the Sylus arrow skin you can bypass the awful looking arrows (even though the Sylus is quite large it is not quite as large as the other one who looks like a ballista bolt).
