The Evolution Engine Has Stopped Working. Help Please!

So i've been playing warframe non stop for 2 weeks out of 4 weeks of my holiday, all was going great.. Then, 2 nights ago I had a windows update. The next day I logged in and it began. Crash after crash after crash. Sometimes within minutes, sometimes after 10-15 minutes.

The game crashed and i'm given this error: The evolution engine has stopped working

I have tried so many fixes, and I have read so many posts dating back all the way to 2011.
I have tried:
- system restoring before update
- disabling dx10,11, 64bit mode & multithreading
- disabling antivirus
- running in safe mode
- reinstalling driver updates
- removing antivirus and replacing with different kind

My computer is a month old, I have a gt640 with 8 gigs of ram running windows 8.1. I can run every other game I have on the highest settings, and have only ran warframe on default (mid) settings, so I don't see my computer being unable to perform, as it's been perfectly fine for the last 2 weeks of 6 hour long gameplay per day.

Can anyone tell me what is going on!?

I've submitted a help ticket but I don't want to sit around and do nothing for another 2 days as it says their business hours exclude weekends.

Have you tried Verifying the integrity of the game cache from the game launcher (do not use the steam one make sure it's the warframe launcher one)? it sounds like the update may have messed up your game files.

Hi yeah I've verified via launcher and it says it's up to date

well if you've gone to the launcher settings and verified the download cache from there I'm not sure what else you can do. I mean you could always try uninstalling/reinstalling as a last ditch effort or try not running in fullscreen and see if that does anything but it sounds like you've troubleshooted pretty well. It sounds like you are going to be stuck waiting for support :(

I'll try it in windowed mode despite my hate for it :( I did a sfc scan and it did find a corrupt file which has now been fixed so I'll try playing now and hopefully it works

I think I've found a fix. I did a sfc scan, fixed the corrupted file and so far touch wood i haven't crashed and I've been on for about 30 minutes, going to test it out in a void survival to make sure

So the game worked perfectly for 4 straight hours last night, shut computer down and went to bed. Just tried playing it for the first time today... Crash. Same problem. So I did another sfc scan, no corruption.

I'm now back to fcking square one and I'm so fed up. I've already spent $100 on this game, if this problem isn't fixed soon (only this game is effected) then the owners are going to be missing out on one of the rare few who pay to play to support free to play games
