Ruby_Rose_ Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) I do not know the cause of this bug, but this is the first time it's happened to me, and I've seen reports of other member of my clan experiencing this as well and only in void defence. To explain this in detail.. During this defence mission, which stopped at 40 due to this issue; My FPS was fine up until wave 25 or so. Then it started to drop. I thought it may have just been the large amount of enemies, as it was dropping only slightly, down to 90-100 FPS range but it was stable. By wave 32-ish I was getting single digit FPS. Out of my entire group of 4, it was affecting only me. Nobody else had any issues at all. A clan mate, who i was on TS with, stated that it might be a bug, because it's occurred to him a few times as well, a few other clan members in clan chat also said they've experienced this. During mission i tried turning down setting and turning off setting one by one to see if they made any improvement on FPS, and was never able to even reach 10 FPS again. I run this on a EVGA Nvidia GTX 960, which any other time has no issue holding over 100 FPS despite the large amounts of Particle effects usually going on. I already sent in a ticket with an EE.log as a preemptive measure. It's Request #386605 Hopefully this could be solved and maybe hotfixed before U17 hits, I'd like to do more defences to finish off Ash Prime, but if this bug even has a chance to happen at all, I'm not going to bother. It's pretty game breaking, considering how many people are probably out running for that same part. So I know I'm not the only one experiencing this.
