Door Bugs!

Before new Update starts and launches can we get a Door2.0 or some kind of dorr fix. the reason being that doors do not open when they should at times. Doors stay closed when a Tenno is practically on top of it causing them to get caught in a stealth-op.

 

Some of the reasons for this glitch are as follows:

 

Lag! just to point out the obvious so no one complains about rest.

 

Wrong positioning. This one is a funny one cause I died from it in multiple mission with endless enemies. I believe it may be caused by a lot of enemies or just from stand in a wierd blindspot off to side of the center of the door you wish to enter.(P.S. all glitches revolve around standing directly in front of the door.)

 

Too high to pass! This happens when jumping through ,I mean at, a door. When you jump you land in front rather than through it. usually lag has an effect but most of time I run into this I am in a solo round so it should get tweaked.

 

 

I bring these up cause a new part of Parkour2.0 is a ability to quicky through an area. And door bugs well make this ability beyond useless.

The lag issue is that when there is a poor connection, pieces of data (AKA packets) get lost. If the message from the server telling your client to open the door is lost, it won't open until that message is resent. In order to get it to resend, you need to walk away so that the server closes the door, then you can open it again.

True but I meant this mainly cause of Jumping Door Glitch. I jumped at door on solo and it never opened till i landed on ground. And solo requires internet just to start and end.

 

I think that is an issue with trigger areas being on the ground instead of the entire space in front of a door.
