tocorro
Vipers (and their wraith counterparts) have relatively small clip, very high firerate and reload time that is waaaaay to long for such weapon. I think a bit of tweaking is needed. Reload time of akstilleto on this/them (Vipers) would be good I think. Thoughts ? tocorro
Instead of reload buff ,,, im prefer if they can reduce the Fire Rate on it .... Kinda ammo wasting Yes they are, but that is their feature, to quickly empty the clip in enemy face. They will probably never be great. There are a lot of better smg/uzi type (or whatever they're called) sidearms. Only thing that is annoying on them is that long reload time. It's way longer than it takes to empty the clip. DeltaFox13
The Akstiletto has a slow reload? It always felt like it reloaded quickly to me.
xenozid
was kinda shocked when the aksomati received their reload buff...vipers really needed it more, hope they get the same treatment (slash reload time in half) someday.
tocorro
The Akstiletto has a slow reload? It always felt like it reloaded quickly to me. Read again my friend. I meant Vipers with 2s reload time, should have reload time like akstilleto 1.1s (for example).
Crewell
Instead of using Twin Vipers, use a single Viper with the Stinging Truth mod. You get a faster reload, slightly better ammo efficiency, and you have more ammo per mag.

And it's a shame for Twin vipers wraith to just collect dust in arsenal. They look cool. Thus as all the Tenno that have an agenda, mine is to make Vipers/Wraith a bit better and more fun to use. [DE]Momaw
I'm kind of inclined to say that the Stinging Truth mod should work on the dual vipers and wraith dual vipers, to bring them up into the same realm of not-quite-practical as the Dex Furis and Akzani. That would be nice, but probably won't happen. Cause again the single version will have nothing to offer.

Necr0Ra1se
I really would love to see buff to reload speed for my Wrath vipers becouse reloading taking longer then shooting and maybe buff to crit chance from 18% to 20%. But it will not happen becouse DE cann't make money on them.

Well maybe if we make an offering to RNGod someone from DE will hear our prayers ;) (I'd be ok with just reload speed, but any buff to some weapons would be welcomed). WingedCrusade
Instead of reload buff ,,, im prefer if they can reduce the Fire Rate on it .... Kinda ammo wasting Are you kidding? I practically modded that thing for /more/ fire rate! Those things are insane, I love it! Have you ever seen those Hikou users who have spammed the Hikou blades like no tomorrow? Fires waaay faster than the fastest I've seen Hikou be thrown.
Dipstick
What would be nice is they changed the ammo economy so that high fire rate/ low damage per shot guns were not such a pain to use/mod.
JuanDeages
Why not? I like machine pistols in general, so lets give more of them a chance to be good.

Usually they have more disadvantages than advantages. Proper balancing of older weapons in the game is much needed. We have a lot of new "uzi"-type weapons. They may have 2s reloads, but their fire-rate isn't as fast and hey do have a lot bigger magazine sizes. A lot of new ones have 1-1.5s reloads. Vipers/Wraith were left behind. Paradoxbomb
As a fan of the Twin Vipers, I could get behind their reload being a bit faster. After all, a fast reload is one of their selling points, and if it's alright for the Aksomati to reload in as little 1.4s I don't see why the Vipers can't follow suit. Or akstilleto with 1.1s reload time. Both Akstilleto and normal Twin Vipers have 28 rounds in magazine.

Consider that aksomati have 1.4s and a bigger clip. So something between 1.1 - 1.4s then.
