Bizzaro21
title^ I mean come on, the true screwed up logic comes at marelok, its cut-down version, being stronger than the full version, like, really? So, what I`m suggesting is: Buff dmg to 170 and decrease fire rate to 1 round per second, that`d make it a real lever action rifle, good samage and low RoF thank you
Cyborg-Rox
The fire-rate is what makes the Grinlok stand out from other snipers though. I suggest nerfing something else, like the crits. I hate using crit-dependent weapons. Absolutely no room for utility when modding.
Wurdyburd
I find that the grinlok is actually not that bad a weapon, especially with the augment. Unlike snipers, it doesn't force you to zoom in enough to see every wart on a grineer's face from a thousand yards, and you're fast enough to keep shooting even if you miss. RagingGrizzly
I use my grinlok just as much as my marelok (Or the baekor if you like) and I like both of them equally, but I do find myself pulling out my sidearm a lot when my grinlok isn't cutting (shooting it?) it. I would indeed enjoy a buff to the grinlok (just to get it on par with it's sidearm varient), just a little more dmg and fire rate would go pretty far,
(PSN)MoRockaPDX
I am on the fence with this one. I don't think all weapons should be buff'd like crazy. They should tier out. That's why the Supra needs attention so badly. But Grinlok has the augment and is otherwise not a bad weapon.
[DE]Grzegorz
Grinlok could have double the damage and increased headshot multiplier (x3-x4) and it would be fine. In its current form, it has completely terrible damage output. Laughably low damage output, slightly above Lato. We could give it 50% crit base and it still would be underpowered I'm all in for a Grinlok buff, because honestly, I got bored of Sybaris. Grinlok is leaps and bounds above a Lato....especially if comparing against high armored enemy. I love the Lato - it was gorgeous enough to put 7-forma in.....but it doesn't hold a candle to Grinlok vs high armored enemies... where that 1% base status chance does not strip armor away to apply reasonable damage. Lato runs out of ammo against a single lvl 95 corrupted heavy gunner eximus!

ShioriShi
I find it amusing that our side arms tend to end up more powerful then our main guns (untill they are nerfed to death that is, but thats another topic).

Sure, modding and rest of stats matter, but when it comes to something as basic as sustained damage, Grinlok is just slightly above Lato, having like 100 sustained DPS while Lato has around 80. Surely, Grinlok scales much better into later levels, but it still could use a buff and imho, could actually be treated as a fancy sniper rifle. JalakBali
Also, compounding to the problem of being much weaker than the Marelok, the Grinlok looks and sounds like a pea shooter. Looks like a pea shooter, sounds like a pea shooter, hits like a pea shooter. It doesn't have the fearsome appearance of the Tiberon or the classic stylish look of the Sybaris. [DE]Grzegorz
Inb4 Vaykore Grinlock :P It's funny how excessive letters (EC) could stand for Error Correction, as it's supposed to be Vaykor Grinlok. I had to.
KirukaChan
Grinlok is in a pretty good place as it is. If it were to get a buff, I'd say buff either the magazine size OR the reload speed. My biggest issue with that gun is that I'm spending more time reloading than I'd like for the amount of damage I'm dishing out.
(PSN)Killmoves37
I don't know much about the grinlok but I'd like a non-crit based single shot rifle. Maybe it could fill that role to set it apart from the secondaries. Also that reload needs some love, 6 shots and then reloading for 2 seconds is not fun at all. RealPandemonium
Grinlok's power level is fine. It's at a level that I wish the more popular (overpowered) weapons were at.
Holeypaladin
It doesn't make sense for the grinlok to be so much weaker than the marelok. So yeah... put them closer to each other. Edited July 31, 2015 by Holeypaladin
Gr33hn
Inb4 Vaykore Grinlock :P Nah, a Prisma Grinlock would be better, with a prisma you can use the augment mod.
