-       Ship 0219382713 requesting permission to dock at port C. Shipment of circuits and alloy plates, and a cache of neurodes from Earth Dark sector.

- Permission granted. You will be directed towards scanning area F. Stand by.

- Ship 16478594 requesting permission to dock at port V. Protocol 30VMEDT404. Requesting clear passage to Experiment area 51, passcode: Void Interchange.

- Permission granted.                             

              And so, everything went according to plan. The ships were captured and packed full of Alad’s V mutalist creatures. This location was the B.R.P.F or the Bursa Research and Production Facility, where Nef Anyo was continuously improving his bursas. As the mutalists were advancing deeper into the facility, under the cover of the corpus ship, the latest version of quanta armor and weapons was being tested. They were supposed to serve as the latest upgrade for the bursas in the conquest for profit. And yet Alad had no knowledge of the new weaponry. His sole purpose was to sabotage Nef’s bursa production, and to turn the existing models into something terrifying. THE MUTALIST BURSA.

              When the ships reached the docking area, a juggernaut burst out, followed by a swarm of mutalist moa. The Corpus anti-biological defenses instantly activated, only to empower the mutalist moas with their electricity bursts. The facility entered total lockdown, and grade 0 security measures were deployed. The new bursas with untested gear went into combat, as the juggernaut was tearing down the doors blocking it’s way. Spores were spreading incredibly fast building biological growth on every electronic sector. In just a few minutes, the mainframe was 30% under Alad’s control. The Bursas massacred the juggernaut and the moas they encountered, only to fall prey to the spores that were instantly merging with any circuit they came into contact with.

               This was the plan all along as the bursas started to malfunction and slowly turn into twisted creatures. Their shields turned into pinchers and launched spikes when attacked, as they were covered in biological growth. Their cannons were now transformed into toxic launchers, spreading webs that immobilized and slowly corroded anything they came in contact with. Their back was no longer vulnerable as the accessories they were wearing transformed into spiked tails, that knocked down and slashed into pieces anything or anyone behind them. The new gear did not escape the transfmormation, however some of them retained most of their corpus form, having only small portions of biological growth, while the other were transformed into something else entirely.  

               The production line was corrupted as well, producing only the twisted infested machines and weaponry, however is was neither under Alad’s control or Nef’s. Who commanded the monstrosities that massacred both the infested and the corpus on the vessel, it was yet unknown as the ship started to navigate with no crew alive on it, AI being overwritten by the spores, the technology aboard twisted and transformed into something…different.

Quanell (Sidearm) 

Quanell
 
Corpus engineer discovered there is a huge lack in field regarding strong primary arms to fight Grineers' heavy armory. However Opticor is expensive to build and the Dera has to little impact. The Quanell is a sidearm that tries to cross boundaries between those two weapons. Each Quanell has a fully-automatic mode where it can fire energy bolts rapidly to quickly annihilate light armored foes. Pressing secondary fire mode button will charge a tremendous shot that will deal high damage but consuming ten-times the ammunition of a regular shot.

Quanor (Melee)

With the Prova being outclassed in damage against all enemies of the Corpus group, their engineers developed a new melee weapon based on Orokin technology harvested from salvaged Orokin Derelicts. This weapon has many built-in generators for energy production. This way the weapon is a very great conductor for energy, increasing channelizing damage and efficiency by a great amount.

Mutalist Quanell (Sidearm)

Infestation grew even on newly developed weaponry solely for the purpose to discover what might happen. Corpus engineers discovered, that the infested biomass in the Quanell circuits can increase the rate of fire alot but the velocity is reduced by a noticeable amount, also the damage is changed from Puncture for Radiation bullets. The secondary fire mode is completely changed. It will now need a short charge time upon pressing the button but then unleash a continous beam of radiation that will fire as long as the secondary fire mode button is pressed or until ammunition is gone.

Mutalist Quanor (Melee)

Mutalist Quanor
 
Infested biomass corrupted the circuits inside the original Quanor sword increasing damage output considerably. However the energy flow was disturbed resulting in a less efficient channelizing. Also the infested biomass generates a highly dosed toxin replacing the original electric damage of the Quanor.

Dual Teracyst (Sidearm) 

Teracyst
 
Completely surrounded by infested biomass this weapon now only resembles slightly to the old Quanell sidearm. Its primary fire mode has been changed into a continous beam that deals radiation damage. Its secondary fire mode got will unleash a wild radiation beam chaos. Each beam will shine randomly making aiming impossible. After few seconds of firing the beams will align with the regular beam to one big beam dealing high damage per second. However the ammunition consumption per second is about four times higher.

Vericyst (Melee)

Vericyst
 
With the original Corpus technology almost completely turned by infestation, the Vericyst now resembles no more the original Quanor in design and purpose. The sharp bone-like edges inflict critical wounds when hitting enemy flesh. Together with the infested toxin releashed by the weapons it is a murderous tool against lightly armored enemies.

Elemental Damage: 40 Toxin

This project was born after my friend Xtinian commisioned me with making a mutalist greatsword, after some sketching i decided i had to make a quanta sword first to be able to make a mutalist version. And like that this project was born.

I really like these however the ammo drain on the Teracyst's secondary fire seems pretty crazy. It seems like by the time you focus the beams most of it would already be gone.

imagine it as the vipers, the fire rate and ammo consumption is high, but if you manage to clear your clip on your target its worth it

Except it's really not though.. like the Vipers suck lol. More than that, it seems like you wouldn't really even be able to USE this beam, as half the time it wouldn't hit anything til it focuses, and then if you miss you just wasted 200 ammo for nothing.

after some thinking if decided to make some slight changes for now, I will also try and discuss with darkruler in further balancing this weapon
