Dracozekrom Posted November 19, 2015 Share Posted November 19, 2015 I have been playing on warframe for awhile and I am at Mastery 5 but have been unable to complete the archwing mission. On my quests page it shows the mission but it won't give me any new quests prompts/objectives. So because of this I can't complete it and can't do archwing missions. As of now, i am aware that in the Warframe site under the Archwing FAQ's at https://digitalextremes.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203729740-Archwing-FAQ half way down it states:"It is important that you do NOT sell any of these until the quest is complete.Following the creation of your Archwing, make sure that the Archwing quest is your Active quest before you claim it from the foundry. This is important because you will still need to complete one last mission in order to access all of the Archwing nodes."Since i have now read this i can say although i understand it i do not agree with this statement. This is a know quest breaking "glich". If you are like Dracozekrom and I, two players that just started playing recently, you would not have any knowledge of this. It is so easy to set a new mission as "active" just by trying to figure out the game and exploring, and then wanting to play a new mission type, claim your Odanata in the "wrong" order.I believe i speak for both Dracozekrom and I when i say there is nothing we can do or have done wrong, as many people have already tried to help and asked; Have you crafted your Odanata parts and have the Archwing fully complete? Yes.; Have you claimed your Odanata? Yes.; Have you made the quest active in your navigation? Yes.; Have you equipped your Archwing in your arsenal? No, the Archwing part of the arsenal is not available as the game does not believe i have one.; Have you tried replaying the Archwing missions on Tessera and E Gate on Venus? Yes, neither of which were the actually Archwing related missions after the first play.I have heard of a small amount of players disliking or not caring to play the Archwing missions for their own reasons, but I myself cant say that i love or hate them as i have not had a chance to try them. I can tell the devs this though. I was very much so looking forward to playing those missions as i happen to love space exploration and flying games. Unfortunately now i can't and have to spend more time trying to get a new Archwing to hopefully get the first mission to start. The thought that i am loosing out on possibly 15%-30% of what this game has to offer, whether that be good or bad, is pretty disconcerting. This is made worst by the fact that i did everything i could as i was instructed by the in-game tutorial.After reading the "What information should I give when submitting a ticket?" I know i can help this issue getting solved by including the EE log. Although i do not think it would help as I've had this issue for sometime and logged off and on many times during, but will still attach it if asked. Please devs let me try the Archwing missions out and experience everything this incredible game has to offer. Also i would like to give recognition to the Warframer Agapea that he/she deserves for being super friendly, helping me figure all this out, and telling me how to properly submit a ticket haha. Thanks in advance.PS. Since this is my first post ill give some more feed back. I haven't played an MMO in probably over 6 years, and i can't say to you the dev's enough how much i love this game. I've never been so instantly hooked on a online game before, other than MU online haha. Seriously i think this game is pretty near perfect and really is going in the right direction and fully support it. Everything from game mechanics to art style and customization is so polished and beautiful, and i am in disbelief that it is still free to play. Honestly you guys are doing a great job are incredible and deserve all the recognition you can get for your hard work. Thanks again. There is no way to start the mission and continue my Archwing career unless on my own. I really want to play these missions! RedSoul001 Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 Today i tried to start a mission with a clan mate just to tell him Im sorry but the support team has not fixed my issue yet. I cant play the Tactical Mission for the 25 rare fusion cores because I HAVE NO WAY TO! I HAVE NO ARCHWING! Im am missing out on a special event because of this ridiculous glitch that i have been waiting on a response for almost three weeks! This may be a free to pay game but I know there is plenty of revenue being generated by platinum. Which leads me to wonder, how in the world is the support team not large enough to handle the issues. I understand if they are trying to fix the actual mission so that other don not experience the same problem but the support team could at least reset The Archwing mission for me or remove my Odonata make The Archwing mission active and give me a new Odonata! "[DE]Nate Today at 13:30 Hello RedSoul001, I have investigated your account and it seems you have claimed the Odonata while the Archwing quest was not your active quest. I have manually set the quest as completed and enabled your Archwing for mission uses. Hope this helped! Feel free to reopen this ticket if you have any other questions regarding this matter." I've been trying to get The Archwing mission to work since I started playing this game. That's almost two months of waiting just to move the game along. Unable to play missions that would allow me to move on to different worlds and not to mention all the missions i was unable to do with my clan mates and friends. Loosing out on so many chances for loot from Alerts and yesterdays Tactical Alert with the twenty five RARE Fusion Cores. Even though this all could have been taken care sooner I loose out because the support team "couldn't" help me sooner. I still love this game and am going to keep playing but I'm disappointed that such a game breaking bug/development flaw hasn't been taken care of and the players affected by it aren't compensated or at least put higher up in the priority list.
