Spira And The Future Of Tenno Lab Weapons

Mogamu pointed out how the second shot of the spira does not go where you point and I noticed this hasn't been addressed. Was it intended or a bug? I love the weapon, but it's hindered by this and should be an easy fix, of course a buff to 30% critical chance wouldn't hurt it either. In addition, the Despair could use a buff in some way, for example it could yield a 10% critical chance and a 3.0 CM and a faster velocity to set it apart from the other kunai.

The Tenno Lab has some excellent weapons and I'd love to see it expanded upon. For example upgraded versions of the weapons (which IMO shouldn't be called primes) available would be great, the clan does the research and the new version becomes accessible. Heck, even dojo augments would be dope, have them cost duccats to give that currency some more value (which could lead to duccats becoming another tradable currency aside from platinum).

I go more in depth here:https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/562896-dojo-lab-upgrades/

What?

Why shouldn't Prime weapons be called Primes? I really find this confusing. Is it just your dislike for the naming or have you not understood what "Prime" means?

Anyway, DE sells the Primes in the Prime Access. They sell for money something that is otherwise very grindy. Why should they make it less grindy, or not grindy at all?

He means upgrades aside from primes, since primed lab weapons wouldn't always make sense, lore-wise.

They meant upgrades aside from Primes but in their original post got distracted and mentioned only primes? And discussing explicitly "grinding for parts", which is what you do for Primes (and some AW weapon)?

We agree that a Primed Lab Weapon makes no sense, not lore-wise and not finance-wise, but hey, it's what that extremely confused post seemed to suggest.

I'm still curious as to why Primes shouldn't be called Primes.

Once again, thats not what he ment, lab upgrades for lab weapons wouldn't be called primes.

I'cant say it better

And more important, with the prime weapons there is the most important mechanics that involve the trade of plat (from player to player) and the real cash (prime access). It's not only lore-wise, but deadly for the finance of the Devs

Dojo weapons are never a part of Prime Access and aren't available for Purchase via Plat. And if duccats should become tradable (which I don't expect at all) they could have micro transactions for them and have them used for Dojo products. Edited by (PS4)SHOKING_KNIGHT

That's exactly what I meant. I understand the lore enough to mention that they shouldn't be called primes. Sigma or Omega would be cool titles.

What about dragon? Lol. We already have dragon nikana, so why not make the dragon line for new clan upgrades? I'd personally love destroying everything with my dragon serro, blowing **** up with the dragon Attica, or chewing through enemies with dragon khomak!

Most dojo weapons can be bought on the market, it's just the first wave that was lab-exclusive.

I understand where you're coming from. Since the Attica is a weapon we research to create in a Tenno dojo it wouldn't make much sense Lore-wise that a Prime Attica exist out there. But Volt can be aquired in the Tenno Lab and he has a Prime so... Then there's Nikana. Nikana apparently has a prime version in Warframe China. so Volt and Nikana kind of throw a wrench in this idea.

BUT if something like Venka got the same treatment as Nikana and they made a Dragon Venka then I'd be down to use it.

Isn't the Dragon upgrade only for Tenno weapons.

Dragon is a unique prefix to the Nikana.

Dera is a research weapon that has a Vandal prefix. However, it's a Corpus research weapon. If the Serro gets an upgrade, it would be Serro Vandal instead.

Prisma prefix is a bit of a funny one as you have Skana (kinda of Tenno/Orikin origin), Tetra (Corpus), Gorgon (Grineer) and some other ones. It's a bit complicated to explain where the Prisma comes from...

We can already "upgrade" weapons. It's called Forma.

"Left and right handed single throws follow separate aim points, as well as wide scatter on automatic throws, make it difficult to take advantage of the weapons critical rate on head shots."
