The first attack will mark an enemy/crate/object and the second attack, no matter the distance, will then register the first, as well as the second. This bug has existed since the introduction of the Ninkondi, and persists still. I've seen it mentioned, posted, and I hope directly reported through support, in the past, the most recent being 3 days ago, and i'm just going to put it back into the light, so that it is hopefully patched soon. It's kinda funny to mark an enemy and then make them go boom later but most of the time the delay is annoying so I use slide attacks instead.
