Law Of Retribution Failed Mission Bug

It's not a bug.

 

It occurs when game only detects less than 4 active players entering the buttons section. It doesn't allow you to play the mission if there's only, say, 3 players but 4 buttons to be pressed.

 

There must've been someone who loaded a little late. If you want to avoid it happening to you again then bring more people.

IT IS a bug. And it came recently with 1 of the "hotfixes". Waiting before the door to the room with pads sometimes, i repeat, SOMETIMES will help, but not always. And it doesn't matter how many people you have in the squad 4, 6 or even 8. Even if all people are loaded and moving - you still could get instant fail due to "Tenno reinforcements exhausted". Believe me, i've done 200+ raids, both normal and NM and this bug came like 2-3 days ago.

Now I've done 200+ raids too and saw it happen since U17 or even before. I even posted the same topic back in November. This is nothing new :P

I ran three normal raids a few hours ago.

 

First attempt, there were 4 of us, one loaded late. Tenno reinfocements exhausted.

Second attempt, there were 5 of us, one or two loaded late. Tenno reinfocements exhausted. Guess two must've been late.

Third attempt, there were 7 of us, two loaded late. We only had to press 5 buttons.

 

This happens literally every run. We always have to press one button less because one of our mates takes his time to load. The game perceives there're less of us and lets us press fewer buttons. If he doesn't participate then every player has to press one.

 

 

It's not a bug, it's just how it works. I agree it's broken though and needs a fix.

Two attempts, 5 player squad, everyone loaded, still "Tenno reinforcements exhausted" on the second part. Have done it with the same 5 people many times. Will try to wait a full minute after everyone loaded to see if it's better.

Its not late...i did 4 times today wid different people and check the loaded in the top left

Bug affects both Normal and NM modes. Because it's not about mode, it's about poor netcode (hello to host migrations etc.) The thing however is that you can actually finish raid with 2-3 people in your squad and game won't give you fail. But that's another bug. DE should fix this one first.

This appears to happen when one player rushes ahead and enters the puzzle room. All players were loaded in at the time.

 

I have a feeling that only the area near the puzzle is being checked for players, not counting any near the spawn area. I've only been in a couple of runs since this bug was introduced, but this seems to be the tile before the door, and no others.

 

It may also have something to do with the AFK timer incorrectly triggering, but most unlikely, given the fact that all players are moving once spawned anyway.

Ok, so this is a major issue now. Just tried it again with all tips (this is my last time LOR until they fix it) and came here with proofs that i was right. The bug has nothing to do with rushes. Here are 2 screenshots. On the first you can see my squad of 7 people fully loaded and moving normally.

I told my team not to rush, we were chilling like 5 minutes or mb even more, chatting before entering the room. Then we headed to the room with pads, all together, and guess what. As soon as we entered - boom, instant mission failed. Tenno reinforcements exhausted.

You can clearly see in chat that all people are in game and kinda pissed off.

 

So, at the moment LOR is completely unplayable for most of the players. Sometimes it somehow let you in, but in most cases you will get insta-fail no matter how many squad members you got, no matter you wait or not, no matter Normal or NM...

 

DE please, notice this thread. Because for max MR players like me and many others raids aka trials are the only reason to play the game, we have nothing to do in the game anyway, we have everything. And this bug killing 2 of 3 raids for us. Only JV is left, bugged too, but at least you can play it without no reason insta-fails. I guess you have enough proofs now. More people will report for sure, so please, deal with this ASAP, thanks.

Getting this bug over and over regardless of how many players in the team (all loaded into mission already), and if we got lucky we were able to continue the raid but the chance is too low, pls fix this and thanks.
