Demdemeh
Hello there, I use Dark Dagger on my Ash for many reasons. Using an Archane Trickery (maxed out) allows me to stay cloaked for most of the time and using Covert Lethality is just great on such weapon. Moreover the new mod Body Count allows me to stack Melee Combos multiplier for a longer time and exploit it with Blade Storm. Finally I use Gleaming Blight Augment on it which allows me to recover a certain amount of Energy and that's just great. However I believe the 100% additional status on Gleaming Bright is just quite useless. It only grants an additional 10% Status on any build and even using that combined with 4 Dual Mods makes the dagger reach a total of 44% Status chance. It doesn't really make any relevant difference beside the Red Veil's innate Blight effect. Perhaps a higher base status %? Or maybe Gleaming Blight adding base status rather than percentage? Dark Dagger has many drawbacks considering it has the lowest damage of all daggers and, in addition to that, it doesn't deal any physical damage but only elemental. Also it is the only dagger which doesn't have any base polarity and, last but not least IS THE ONLY WEAPON WITH A STANCE POLARITY THAT DOESN'T FIT WITH ANY STANCE. Check here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Dagger Please, make it a more efficient weapon! Thank you. felixsylvaris
The thing which kills for me Dark Dagger is stance polarity not matching anything. This weapon offers less mod points than others, so it is impossible to properl judge its usefulness. DE fix?
bubbabenali
The question I ask myself is why doesn't at least has the Dark Dagger Homing Fangs polarity? Now we have one dagger with an incompatible polarity to any stance mod and one stance mod with an incompatible polarity to any Dagger...

Hummm, actually Homing Fangs matches Heat Dagger, Karyst and Sheev. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Weapon_Comparison

(PSN)Lord_Gremlin
I've put 3 forma on dark dagger. Still mostly use sheev though. Syndicate mod really should give 100% base status, radiation proc on demand.

Nah, I don't think, I wanna be in dagger range of an radiated lvl 100 enemy, that is instantly getting blasted by his comrades.

Anyway the Loka's augment on DDagger turns pretty useful in terms of energy replenishment. However, the Dark Dagger still remains VERY disadvantaged compared to any other Dagger. Specific.Zod
Why do you need more damage when you can one hit level 400+ with it when covert lethality equiped? And I believe when you stand in a group of 100 level mobs WITH a dagger, you have more problems to deal with than killing. P/s: dagger should have a throwing combo. (PSN)MrNishi
The status duration works for the guaranteed Bleed Procs if Quick-meleeing without a Stance or with Homing Fang. Pointed Wind removes the guaranteed Bleed Proc. Because the Slash Status is guaranteed you don't need a high Status chance. Because of how Bleed Procs work you only need a high Base Damage. (Possibly Crit multiplier if you feel so inclined) Basically the Dark Dagger is perfect for Ash. Allows for Infinite scaling Finisher kill on Finisher-suceptiple enemies Also allows for Energy Regen And because of Body-Count + Rising Storm You can utilize Stanceless (or Homing Fang) quick melee to quickly stack long-lasting Bleed Procs Which then scale with melee-multiplier and also scale with 400% Stealth melee multiplier. You can stack the Bleed Procs and then use Smoke Screen to wathc the Bleed ticks grow.

It's also a fantastic dagger for a Duration+Range Sleep Ivara, since the periodic Red Veil procs will make up for any energy that prowling doesn't and assist the team by halving the hp of a bunch stationary of targets even an MR1 can't help but hit. Just remember to put them back to sleep.
