Castanas And Multishot

yes I`ve noticed this, it`s helpful on big crowds, but not much on single targets, it`s actually like most pistols, marelok for example, is accurate until multishot has touched it, I think the accuracy is distributed among the shots? dunno

 

anyway it`s not that annoying, like Alphasierramike said, it`s a bad idea to snipe with them

Multishot add spread. Even Tonkor's multishot grenades spread out a little.

Multishot doesn't add spread, on perfectly accurate weapons shot projectiles are virtually indistinguishable from each other, on weapons with spread though, it allows the player to notice the divergence from the other one more easily.

Prior to U18's release the Castanas were pinpoint accurate both with and without Multishot mods.  However, ever since then the Castanas went from an interesting weapon to a borderline unusable thing due to their outright astonishing level of inaccuracy.  It's to the point where I just ignore them now, allowing them to just rot in my inventory.

 

Other weapons don't suffer this same massive flaw when slotting Multishot, so it's very peculiar to be hit with such a drawback onto the weapon.  With other things it can be an interesting trait.  For instance the fixed spread changes created by using Multishot on the Angstrum are cool, since the firing pattern is predictable.  However on the Castanas you get eyes-closed after spinning in circles level of random tosses, rendering their usability lessened drastically.
