Full Auto Secondary Ammo Increase

Now that we have the Twin Grakatas with their huge ammo pool, how about we adjust the ammo pool of the other full auto bullet hose secondaries? It feels inconsistent.

A few of the secondary weapons are definitely thirsty for ammo. Adjusting the ammo pool and/or the ammo economy to make them last more than a few seconds would be nice.

I think the pickups are the real problem here.

They should give more ammo to fast firing secondary's.

The whole class is basically unplayable without ammo mutation mods.

it would definitely be nice if they also made the ammo pickups based on percent instead of a flat number....trying to reload a 1200 reserve even with ammo mutes *at rank 3 its around 8-10 converted per pickup ) still takes far too long than needed.

I think they just need to get away from a fixed basic load on both primaries and secondaries. The ammo capacity should be unique to each weapon.

 

DE has been slowly heading in this direction, but a number of the older weapons still suffer from the 540/210 thing unnecessarily. Also, the fixed ammo pickup amounts exacerbate the issue.

 

There are still ammo mutators, but we all know how popular those are...
