CubedOobleck
Loki is made for utility and requires some sideways thinking to use properly: that's his appeal. DECOY The skill is useful, but it doesn't last against high level enemies. I think it shouldn't have health, even if it means shortening the duration a bit. INVISIBILITY The only issue with this skill is that the sentinels aren't cloaked with you, so they will take a lot more damage, I hope DE intends to fix this. A bug: if you fall down a pit or view a cut scene while invisible, the invisibility wears off, but the yellow effect remains and you cannot turn invisible again until it disappears. SWITCH TELEPORT It has it's uses, like moving bosses, helping teammates and moving around in combo with decoy. I think the enemy you switch with should actually be confused or stunned for a second or two. RADIAL DISARM The only thing that needs a major fix in Loki's arsenal is his ultimate, other warframes can outright kill everything around them, Radial Disarm should at least render them helpless, but as it is right now it doesn't help much. First, it should have a greater range, more similar to other ultimates; second, it shouldn't last indefinitely, I'm thinking around a minute; third, grineer and corpus shouldn't take out a melee weapon (Loki is smart enough to take those as well) and moas shouldn't suddenly learn how to knock you to the ground; third, infested shouldn't take damage, but should lose their abilities instead so runners wouldn't explode, leapers wouldn't jump, nauseous crawlers wouldn't vomit, toxics wouldn't exude poison, disruptors wouldn't leech, healers wouldn't heal, you get the idea. nakatotaiyou
well its useless vs infested but say in grineer/corpus defense his uber is quite useful, especially in high levels where they can kill you in 2 seconds with bullets, with radial disarm you can kite them or group them easily, im not sure what you mean rendering them helpless, probably making them unable to melee or stun them... well that is already done by radial blind and rhino's uber so i dont know... Ryaneko
yeah.. very usefull vs grineer because they clumb up all the time so you can hit like 15+ with the ult... or in reality you hit 3 while defending a pod or die the instant you use it in a group without invis.. whopping 150 energy combo. happyfunba11
Unless you are playing enemies of such high level that they can kill you with a couple melees, radial disarm is wonderful. Even then, the team might disagree, but invisible loki is gonna be just fine :). Against infested your ideas are good, though. I'm not sure it should last forever either, but I wouldn't want it to run on a timer like nyx's or anything of that nature. One of its best qualities is its duration, so I'd just leave that alone. I don't see loki running around grabbing all the weapons, just disabling them, so leaving the enemies melee is fine (besides that completely trivializing them would be game-breaking.) Addition: People are complaining about the range. Try the range mod. It's fine. And further, after you do it, corpus and grineer will clump up to a decoy. Too much energy? He shares the highest energy pool in the game. Edited June 14, 2013 by happyfunba11
Ryaneko
in a teamgame.. well. i put a decoy and get ready to go in there with radial disarm.. all of a sudden i see a *insert random warframe except loki* using ult and everything dies.. just good i stole their weapons first! uhm.. maybe in a solo game, but nah. rather 2 times invis and charge attacking all the mobs. happyfunba11
In a team game people wouldn't waste energy like that. In a game with people that want to get the most kills, you are right. And what I said about clumping up to decoy might not even work anymore with the changes to how decoy works. Not sure.
Dazko
Decoy works great for me, even on high level maps if you place it in the right spots where enemies have trouble hitting it then it can last until it's duration is over. Plus disarm does do a good amount of damage on chargers and stuns enemies for a few moments so its not completely useless on infested. It saved the pod quite a few times. Oleker
Loki useless against infested!? Sorry man, you are not using Loki right. Decoy can attract runners and make them explode. Don't got xp, but don't need to bother with them. I agree with OP on this skill. Invisibility grants you melee dmg bonus... Many melee weapons have x2 or x3 dmg on infested, plus your bonus. Agree with the sentinel issue here too. Switch teleport a ancient of the map kill him, don't get xp but again... You don't need to bother wasting your bullets. You also can switch with your decoy to get in places that other warframes can not. I agree with the confuse on enemies. Radial disarm KILLS infested chargers. Don't know about lv1 and 2, but lv3 kill up to lv37 infested instantly. And focus mod do increase this point. It would be nice to have runners and leapers get a huge slow effect on. Disarm sometimes rip of their arms and legs... but they skill with the same speed. On ancients and crawlers... I vote for stun or arms of like runners, so they can't use the ranged attack. Farge
I've posted something about Loki's invisibility in a different thread, but I'll post it here too. Loki's invis not affecting the sentinel is a pretty big problem, not just because the sentinel ends up taking a lot more hits than normal. Enemies that use AoE attacks will attack the sentinel and end up hitting you in the process; probably the most annoying example of this would be the AoE knockdown used by heavy Grineer, which basically ends up wasting half of your invis duration. The problem also ruins stealth runs (which I'm not that concerned about at the moment), Also, when you compare Loki's invis to Ash's smoke screen, it's kind of strange that the decidedly more utility-oriented Warframe has an invis with less utility. Ash's costs less energy (35 instead of 50), causes an AoE stagger, and affects his sentinel. The only upside of Loki's is that it lasts a little longer. If Loki's affected the sentinel, too, that would be great.
Toom1275
Decoy works great for me, even on high level maps if you place it in the right spots where enemies have trouble hitting it then it can last until it's duration is over. I think DE may have nerfed this feature on one of the recent hotfixes. If an enemy can't damage it (like if you found a clever spot to deploy it for such purpose) then the enemy will now ignore the decoy.
