  1. So what if k-drives are not as fast as archwing? Not all melee weapon types have covert lethality so should we only use frames with blinds and daggers because it the best possible dmg? The only time you need archwing speed is during bounty objectives. There are multiple things in the vallis people do outside of those too. As for the itzal, the blink is nice, but an odonata or amesha "sprint" will still get you to your objective very fast. Just because its not instant does not make it bad.

  2. On most if not all abilities in the game the player can see either the amount of health left, or at least a percentage of the remaining health. Examples of this would be Frost's globe, Nezha's new halo, Iron Skin etc. As someone who plays Gara a lot, I would really like to see some sort of visual indication of when a glass panel is about to break. I was thinking that when one panel of her wall gets to maybe 30% of its health, there would start to be visible cracks in that portion of the wall. Maybe once it get to 20% the cracks could get larger and more visible. This would provide Gara with some nice reaction time before a panel breaks.

  3. I just really hate to see the state the ability is in because Gara is one of my favorites amd I think all of her other abilities are really good, especially her ult. I also thought that DE was done making useless abilities at this point. You would think that after 5 years of developing this game they would realize that flat non scaling values just don't work against high levels. Spectrorage at higher levels only hurts Gara because it costs energy and ends up doing nothing.

  4. As anyone can see in the title I am simply wondering why we can't contribute eidolon articula to the dojo. I go on eidolon hunts pretty frequently and becuase of it I have more articula than I would like to have on my ship. It would be really nice if players had the option to contribute them to the dojo.

  5. I've been thinking about a Chroma rework recently. Might as well put my ideas on here.

    Passive: Chroma gains a small percent bonus dmg to his weapons (and maybe abilities) based on his element of choice

    Spectral Scream-Chroma does his normal release of dragon breath or whatever it is, but instead it could do percent health dmg of his elemental type of choice (more on that for his second ability). Alternatively if he holds to charge the ability he would release a much more powerful shorter breath attack in a cone in front of him dealing percent hp dmg in his element of choice at double to energy cost. If the ability is channeled like how it is now, he should be able to move and use weapons freely.

    Elemental Ward-Swap between the 4 elements. Kinda like Ivara's quiver, but with element choice instead of arrows.

    Vex Armor-I would keep the dmg buff the same, but I would honestly buff the armor back up. Currently Chroma feels too squishy in my opinion. If vex armor could make him tanky again regarless of element chosen it would give Chroma much more choice instead of just ice like how he currently is.

    Effigy- Chroma releases a dragon upon the enemies that moves freely and deals percent hp dmg per second and light cc based on the element chosen with elemental ward. This would allow players to choose between fire, ice, poison, and electric dragons depending on the situation. Each dragon could have its own aura of light cc around it based on the element. I would also like it if this ability no longer removed armor from Chroma like how it stupidly does now.

     

    Hopefully this rework idea sounds alright. If anyone disagrees or has different ideas though i'd be happy to see them. Honestly I just want them to do something to bring Chroma back into the game outside of Eidolon hunting.

  6. For the new eidolons I generally play the healer role and play either Oberon or Trinity. For some reason though when I play Oberon, a lot of times hunter adrenaline simply does not work when being dmged, especially by the gantulyst. Against any non eidolon enemy, it still regenerates energy upon taking dmg like it is supposed to. Is this a glitch or do they somehow counter that mod?

    Is she viable? Yeah. Good? Depends on how you use her.

    Being good or viable are two separate things.

    How is she good or viable though? If you know some great ember build or strategy I would be happy to try it out if you're willing to share it. If not thats cool tho.

    What enemies were they specifically? Butchers and chargers? I know for a fact that you did not do this test vs any of the heavier units from any of the factions. Even corpus who don't have many armored units will not die to her dmg if we're talkin corpus tech units. In terms of skill, sure skill helps players in many ways and in many cases, but skill will not magically make ember deal viable dmg. No amount of skill will change the programming so that she will do more.

  10. As in the title, when people talk about ember one thing that really bothers me is the nice sugarcoated way of saying she sucks without directly saying to avoid the issue. Even DE does this. I'm sorry, but "shes not bad shes just really good at killing low levels" is to me and i'm sure to many others as well, just a nicer way of saying shes terrible. So in this post I won't dodge around it because I want ember to become an actual warframe instead of the fiery mk-1 braton she is now. All of her abilities are meant to deal dmg, she was very clearly designed to be a dmg dealer warframe, and maybe back in update 1-8 or so she might have been good at this. In the current day of warframe though embers dmg is simply horrible at any mid to high level and she can not kill any heavier units in a reasonable amount of time. This wouldn't be too much of an issue if she had some form of RELIABLE cc and/or survivability. To put it simply ember's abilities do nothing at high level and even with firequake, her cc will still not hold down enemies enough to survive especially with her lack of survivability. Ember is just a terrible warframe with abilities that literally do not do anything whatsoever past level like 50, maybe 60 if i'm being nice. So please DE give ember some actual buffs to make her deal actual dmg or be an actual cc frame instead of the outdated mess that she is now.

  11. I disagree on the  new prime part farming system. Void fissures are better in every way than what it used to be. The drop table for any tower key back in the day had like 12-15 items on it and the rng was not evenly spread among them. The new system gives affinity, credit, resource, and resource drop chance boosters the longer you go in a mission as well as having drop tables way smaller at only 6 per relic. Also its way more variety instead of being in the same void tileset 99% of the time.
