  1. For years we've been complaining how the Nychus Moa had its head rammed down its neck. The recent update has finally fixed that issue, but the new problem is that the neck brace is missing - all we have is a pencil-thin neck currently supporting the head.

For comparison, @Redpaws's original pic compared to the current look:

    image.png?ex=6545e83a&is=6533733a&hm=a98image.png?ex=6545e85c&is=6533735c&hm=54d

Also I just noticed how the moa's inner neck twists itself off when it's doing the idle where it spins its head around:

    image.png?ex=6545e901&is=65337401&hm=28b

Can we please have the neck model fully restored sometime soon?

While not all variants end up "as a 10" is fine generally speaking, Lato Prime and Skana Prime are very exclusive weapons. As someone who owns both, I personally think it would be the most fair if the Lato Vandal and Prisma Skana became identical to them in power when Incarnon-ified.

As someone who doesnt, im fine with the prime versions being slightly better.

Theres more than enough "good" weapons for the rest of us at this point and they arent like night and day better

Both are equally valid points. I still don't care if the Lato Prime is a touch superior to the Vandal, it'd be unfair for a permanently unobtainable FOMO to openly blow the rest of the competition out of the water.

Friendly reminder that Galvanized Shot exists and gives gun CO on any secondary.

Yes, but again, the core issue is the halved base status chance LV has over LP: 10% vs 20%. If you pick SE, then that's 22% vs 30%, stacked with GS's +80% becomes 18~39.6% vs 36~54%. The difference in status chance boosts is quite significant because of LP's higher base status chance.

  4. 10 hours ago, Azamagon said:

Prime has one thing pretty heavily in favour over the Vandal: Gun CO.

Currently, "gun CO" effects do NOT take into account the bonus damage from evolutions, most notably evolution tier 2.

So the Vandal only scales gun CO with its base 46 damage (but not by the +22 from evo 2), while the Prime scales from its base 60 (but not from its +2 from evo 2).

When this bug is fixed though, they would become a lot more similar.

I see - but there's one problem about Gun CO - without Survivor's Edge, L.Vandal has a low base status chance of 10% compared to Prime's doubled and passable 20%. The 20% range (base Prime, Vandal with SE) is a lot more workable/viable with GCO, but that means you have to pick SE for Vandal which, well, excludes GCO.

So in a way barring any direct stat buffs to LV, it partly feels like GCO is there more for the Prime variant.

Prime is still better, but it's very marginal. slightly more of everything.

Agreed, except for the substantially higher status chance. Like I said previously, that would tip the balance in favour of the Prime.

its my understanding the incarnon choices try to balance variant power gap.

Sure, but I keep having the nagging feeling that the balance isn't fully smoothed over. For instance, assuming the same passive is picked among both pistols Prime still gets a noticeably higher status chance (30%) compared to Vandal (22%) which helps tip the balance in its favor when factoring in the damage from status procs.

I'd like to know if anyone has done any mathing to conclude how less inferior Vandal is to Prime now.

  6. Major spoilers: I'm not a founder. So I don't and will never have the Lato Prime.

It never really bothered me all these years because it was unremarkable and weak, until the day DE decided to give it gigantic buffs that outpaced it beyond the other Latos, especially the Lato Vandal which was more or less similar in DPS.

Now that the Lato incarnon has been out for a while, is there any math wizard here who can tell me if Lato Vandal's incarnon damage buffs put it on a more even footing against the Prime?

  7. I'd like to apply incarnon adapters to these upgraded versions and not the very basic starters, diminished bonuses be damned.

Heck, it can't be that hard to make Furis Prime: Relabel "Afuris Barrel/Receiver" to "Furis Barrel/Receiver" and release the Furis Prime BP while allowing the Afuris Prime BP to retain usage of the renamed parts. The model already exists, simply port it to a one-hand pistol format and tweak the stats.

  8. I know there was a patch earlier this year that was supposed to change pickup notifications of railjack resources so that the only "alert" ones would have been the big 4 you need to stock up the forge (copernics, carbides, pustrels, cubic diodes). From the logical conclusion of that change, the drops of all the others should look something like this at the mid-bottom area of the screen:

    X Kesslers
    X Komms
    X Aurcrux
    X Trachons

    X Brachoid
    X Nullstones

    Instead, we've still got the *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!*, *sshik-dik!* audio spam barrage that persists until the last enemy has been destroyed, the last loot picked up and no more crates/asteroids being bumped into. Each *sshik-dik!* accompanied with yet another big flashy icon of the 30kth titanium, then the 104th Asterite, then the 8th Nullstone that the railjack has sucked up, with many more lining up to proudly shine into your eyeballs for the billionth time.

Please dial this back already, DE.

I have some Logitech gaming mouse and yeah sure the software could be 100% safe to use, but as long as the stance (and only reply from DE) is "use at your own risk" I just don't feel like risking it.

Naaaaaaah, you're worrying too much compared to me. You're 110% safe!

I imagine that if you could prove that the software was totally harmless and cannot do anything to WF DE may let you off. Assuming what you are running is a legitimate thing that the game developers do endorse. You do also get a warning, so provided it’s a first time thing you should be alright.

Well, seeing as I'm logged in and posting and playing just fine 8 hours from your post, I haven't been banned! So SMAPI probably hasn't triggered anything via memory modification, but whether it will in the future (DE makes the detector much more aggressive in an update, or SMAPI's devs change the code in their own future update) is up for debate.

    CheatEngine

Yeah that one will get you banned for sure. Having it JUST run is already instant ban-flag for Warframe's cheat detector, even if you just left it open by accident from tinkering with a different game.

Running anything in the background while playing Warframe is "use at your own risk" according to DE. I haven't been able to get them to answer wether or not I can have my mouse software running so I have to install the software, update mouse settings and uninstall again just to be safe -.-

Mouse software? What mouse are you using? I've got a Logitech G5-something that's got mouse software downloaded and running for it (mainly to turn off the eye-blinding blue LED light). I think you're fine if you've got a similar model mouse.

Meanwhile I can still log in and play missions just fine. I hope it means I'm in the clear. I HOPE. If this thread wipes out and vanishes or whatever else happens that'll be a sign I might have well gotten banned. But I hope it doesn't come to that.

  11. Can anyone with some technical expertise look at the SMAPI mod loader for Stardew Valley and tell me if it does any RAM-modifying hijinks? The "Content Patcher" mod as well.

    https://smapi.io/

    https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915

I was running SDV-SMAPI together with Warframe earlier, playing Stardew while lounging about on an open world tileset when I remembered that Warframe has some finicky cheat detection systems.

I don't know if I've been flagged for a ban - my friend got banned because of another game she was running at the same time that EITHER works by modifying the memory, or because the cheat detector saw the word 'trainer' in its name and took action.

Just a bit worried. Just ran a handful of missions and I haven't been banned, but I can't help but feel paranoid that I might be on a timer now. A bit of multitasking is not worth losing my account of 5 years.

i had to farm 3 or 4 kuva bramma to get it +50% toxin, and i was already forma and potato my first one, and while farming i got cooler kuva bramma names but i lost it because i had to fuse them to the first one because i didn't want to x5 forma and potato all over again

I think you can still rename secondary and melee weapons though, so you can still spend plat to get back the cooler names.

It will retain Forma and Catalyst's if you tranfer B into A in this case. It wont retain it the other way around.

Also if Weapon A has Heat and Weapon B has Radiation it will switch the Element to Radiation in the end.

Well damn, looks like I'll have to farm up extra weapons at the correct element then. Thanks for the confirmation.

  14. I'm working on powering up my kuva weapons to 60% bonus. They're all a different array of elemental damages because I was hunting for ephemeras at the same time.

Is there any chance that transferring A (+formas) into B (no forma) retains the forma? I really don't want to waste forma, but I'd also rather not have to farm another lich up just to retain the element I want.

it might be a traffic issue on DE's side. Understand that this period of time there is going to be more consistent WF players than ever before, so there will be connection issues.

However, I don't think this is the case. Did you check if your firewall is causing problems for warframe? Did you check if it is your router that needs to be reset?

It could be a lot of things, so I can only guess. Sorry.

Nah, it's not those. They work fine at other times of the day.

It honestly can't be that, I've never had any issue with this sort of thing until just now. It's almost as if a switch was flipped somewhere to cause this.

  16. Yesterday I thought it was because of the update.

Today my game has suddenly stopped becoming playable once more at the same time just now, with connectivity going down the drain.

The launcher takes 5 minutes for the play button to highlight, and login takes another 5 minutes of waiting just to be told there was a "login issue" while the "Network not responding" error message keeps showing up.

Does anyone else from the Asian server have this issue, or can they connect just fine and am I the only one whose Warframe connectivity is getting throttled?

I don't understand - the rest of the internet, the browser, youtube etc. work just fine. So why Warframe?

P.S. Using a VPN to tunnel to the UK works, but then I am forced to stick to solo-only missions, making Scarlet Spear credit grinds inaccessible.

P.P.S. I've tried two different wi-fi connections (router and phone), both show the same issues. I'm thinking the local internet company may be behind this. Or DE's networking got fried for Asian region users. I don't know at this point.

Update: Seems to have relented, I can play again. No idea why this happened, really. Most likely heavy bandwidth usage by other people living under the local quarantine.

  17. A lich that has been successfully defeated with all 3 correct Requiem mods should give slightly more murmurs than a lich that was given a failed stab.

Apart from only benefiting the one player doing said vanquishing/converting, said player also no longer sticks with the rest of the murmur farming in order to go play something else/roll a new lich.

Excuse me if it sounds a tad selfish.

Wait did DE do that thing where it respawns the exact mob you killed but didnt set the deminishing returns to reset?  So every mob afterwards had the previous ones DR?

    I hope thats an oversight

From what I've heard, yes. Diminishing returns are accumulative towards each subsequent wave of Sentients. So new spawns by wave 15 will only be paused for 2 seconds or something.

  19. I think the secondary-induced reload is a bug. Note how the weapon doesn't animate at all during the reload movement.

The primary-induced reload seems quite jittery too, there's a lot of ways its effect gets canceled. Rolling, swapping weapons, so on and so forth... I get some are probably intentional but it really needs some clarification/tweaking IMO. Secondary reload definitely needs fixing.
