  1. Invulnerable bosses has got to be the worst idea ever.  Especially since the mission is buggy and the Bursas often don't spawn at all during the boss fight, leaving you up against an invulnerable boss that you can't ever damage no matter what you do.

We need at least SOME way to damage the dang thing our bloody selves, without having to rely on those annoying bursas that stop spawning and leave you stuck in an unbeatable fight that you have to abort.

  2. Strun needs to be primed.

It's one of the oldest weapons that hasn't been primed, and one of two mk-1 weapons that doesn't have a prime.

Kunai also needs to be primed.

  3. I don't know how else to describe this... but at times when I'm trying to switch to melee mode, and get knocked over or something, the animation will be cancelled and I will be unable to use melee or the dodge/roll button for the rest of the mission, or until I die and respawn.

It's been an issue for weeks now, hope it gets fixed soon.  It's a major problem for Excal in melee-only sorties.

  4. Atlas looks like the least inspired frame since.... forever.

He has a power that... punches things.

And all of his other powers are vastly inferior to every other frame's powers.  Earth frame?  Where's his vex armor?  When I think Earth I think "hard to kill" and yet he's so much softer than Chroma and even Rhino.

  5. 275 damage, 90% puncture, 4-6 fire-rate, crit based. No... the damage really isn't low... unless you're comparing it to the Velocitus.

The problem with crit based weapons is that arch-gun crit mods are the absolute worst in the game, except for melee crit mods I guess but they get berserker.  They seriously need to rework the arch-gun crit mods.

It's hard to land a direct hit with the grattler due to slow travel time, and the explosions seem to do less damage than the direct hits.  So I judge it primarily based on the explosion damage since it's too innaccurate to rely on direct hits.

  6. The ammo regen of grattler is still way too low.  It's a difficult weapon to use, you have to pace yourself around 350 meters from your targets, and the ammo regen is too slow to sustain that kind of fire.  Damage is a bit low too.  I still prefer the imperator vandal.

They should release the imperator PRIME next!

  7. Twin Braton Prime.

Actually make that twin soma prime.  With primed target cracker.  Damage 12, crit 30%, multiplier 3x, ROF 30, with 2000 round reserve... since there's no such thing as enough dakka.

  8. Most pistols aren't designed for crit builds.  So I don't particularly mind the fact that target cracker as a mod is lacking compared to say, vital sense.

But there are a couple newer weapons in the game that could certainly benefit from a primed target cracker.  Primed critical damage mods have already been released in the form of primed ravage, but there isn't a single crit shotgun in the world... rather, target cracker should have been primed instead of ravage.

With a primed target cracker, weapons such as twin grakatas and aksomati could benefit from the increased critical damage on critical builds.  Since it looks like primed mods are being used in place of re-designing the mod system from the ground up, target cracker would be a good mod to prime.

  9. Rhino needs an armor buff and an iron skin rework.  The rest of his kit is pretty good.  But iron skin is absolutely terrible compared to every other damage reduction skill in the game.

  10. I actually hate being grouped with most Valkyr players since all they do is run around in hysteria and not kill anything while not dying either.  I have to do the lion's share of the killing in most of my missions, but it's nice to see an excal player who picks up some of the load as far as the killing is concerned.

So yes, Excal > Valkyr both to play and to have on the team.

  11.

Also, how is an invulnerability ability obsolete?

The fact that it's not an invulnerability at all, and that it lasts a shorter period than its casting time in any situation where Rhino is under heavy fire, and that every other damage reduction power in the game is superior to iron skin.  That's how it's obsolete.

Chroma is what Rhino should be.  Or rather, vex armor is what iron skin should be.

  12. Ember has gotten way too much attention already, recently.

The guy who needs the biggest change is Rhino.. specifically, iron skin.  It's simply obsolete as an ability compared to everything else, plus with Frost and Excalibro getting armor buffs, Rhino should get one as well.
