Nice, I haven't had the time to check any of the new stuff out yet but due to some explosions irl when I play the the old disruptions I have been using a second monitor with a spectrogram to find the demolyst and while it's better then nothing, it's not always reliable if something else spikes in the audio in the same rhythm as the demolyst beeping.

I absolutely despise Metronome. I want to crouch and shoot when I actually want to crouch and shoot. If I do anything other then a spam song, I have to find the timing over and over when I'm not host. And nobody else has ever even tried to get a buff from me from anything else but a song that fills up all the notes. It's easy to cheese, it just bores me.

I've never not succeeded on a kaithe race, but that horse does feel really clunky to me and I don't like it. It seems to bug out sometimes and heads straight up no matter what I tell it to do, unless that's some mechanic that I don't understand yet. It doesn't stop me from progressing, but it also doesn't make me excited about having to use the horse.

I don't really care what happens to skin, I still dodge stuff when it's up anyways out of habit and often neglect to recast it. But leave the charm alone. Charm is my favourite skill/spell in video games and tabletop rpgs, in the history of both of those things. And as far as PVE goes, Enthrall is a top tier unique representation of the concept, albeit situational. As for contribution to groups...anybody can bring whatever and just pop out and spoilermode the room anyways....I don't think it really matters at all outside of endurance runs.

When this game was new I found it when I was searching in vain for new space sims and some stupid magazine had it listed as a space game that lets you pilot a ship. But it had throwing stars, so I stayed until my kids got into it and I discovered the spawn-for-plat mechanics, so we dropped it, because I'm just not doing that. I don't mind paying for things I like, but that's just too on the nose, especially when the servers didn't seem to like all of us connecting at the same time back then and the lag/glitch deaths started adding up. And then years later I came back, my problem with it was long resolved, and railjack was in the game so I actually got to fly a spaceship after all.

It's not even nuke builds, it's just powercreep in general. Spoiler mode can wipe out rooms by itself. Spectres/on call can do serious heavy lifting with some of the weapons we can give them. If somebody with a coherent build wants to run ahead of you and vaporize everything, it's probably going to happen. Some modes are just a faceroll now due to our insane power, we'd need like a gold path or something like that where the mobs start at a much higher level for exterminate to be a mode where everybody in group gets to actually use their kit to its fullest. In a perfect world it would be cool if everybody was considerate and didn't actively try to stomp on other people's enjoyment, but enjoying nuking stuff is valid too. I'm sure that most people who do it aren't trying to get anything over on anybody else.
