  1. Better to give exclusive consumables that gives Sniper 10 rounds that gives:

Fire Element: +90% Fire Damage and increase proc chance of fire to 100%.

Cold Element: +90% Cold Damage and increase proc chance of cold to 100%.

Electric Element: +90% Electric Damage and increase proc chance of Electric to 100%.

Toxic Element:+90% poison Damage and increase proc chance of poison to 100%.

These Items are exclusive for Sniper Weapons, and only one of the effects can be used at a time.

These rounds are not shared with the general sniper ammo pool.

The idea is similar to alternate ammo pool, but only available if you use the consumables.

  2. I usually use Lanka and Lex for high level mission (Void Tier 3 Survival, Pluto survival). From what you describe, It seems that I should having nightmare with the scenario "swarmed by 100 mobs". But no, I kill most of them at long range (1 shot = 1 kill). Any mobs that left would be taken care by my teammates.

Putting in punch through for burst weapon, then swing the weapon while shooting would spread the shots out, or penetrate multiple enemies with 1 burst.

  3. Lanka can build for both status proc and crit. You can control which element you want to proc the most (highest damage would proc more).

Always like it when I 1 shot and kill cluster of mobs because of punch through & gas/blast procs.

Bows do have the damage, but the proc is not as good as lanka.

If there is any buff, i would like to give Lanka another fire mode: a shotgun mode (dispersed laser, close range, lower crit chance and status proc, no punch through, 0.5 charge time by default) and sniper mode.

  4. Something is missing here.

It's look like that, you put the time in, and you expect rewards.

You play the game, and you expect to get rewards that comparable to real money.

Where is the variable of "playing" the game and "not actually playing" the game?

If i use the money, to buy the prime weapons, do I really play the game?

If I grind for the prime weapons, do I play the game?

People seems to forget what is the definition of playing for fun.

  5. Should make event that kill mobs with your guns, not event where you can press 4, 4 ,4 and get to leader board.  Looking at current leader board, you can see hundreds thousand of kills, because those people mostly use the button: 4.

I, for once, met a player that only go for kills. All he did during the mobile defense were pressing 4, ran around getting energy, then press 4.  I was on my banshee, and at the end of mission, he said in the chat: "terrible, banshee and only got 5x kills." And what did I feel about that? Nothing much, just that the person is somewhat stupid, cuz if by pressing 4 and get kills, a 5 years old can do that.

Event or leader board based on kills is meaningless. It should ask for another requirement: use such and such weapons, score streak headshots, kill x amount of enemies before taking damage (to health), speed trigger (kill x amount of enemies within y time limit with guns), piercing hit (kill x amount of enemies with 1 shot)

  6. Calling 100 ppl no-lifers is pathetic, but its FAR less pathetic than what OP is asking for. Almost as much as stealing a candy compared to a bank robbery.

Those 100 people really "worked" hard, don't insult them like that.

  7. You "worked" hard, you "earned" it? What "hard work" did you actually do?  Grind for hours? I thought that's a form entertainment, not work.  When did playing video games actually a work? If you can't define work and entertainment, i believe you should see a doctor. I'm sorry to have to say it like this.

  8. So you only want to be unique?

I don't have primed chamber, nor do i want to have one. I can be careless about that.

Having that exclusive mod make you better than others? The only people that actually care about if you have the mod would be the three that in your mission, and that, if the mission having mobs level 120+.

So, you are...only unique if you can prove to people that you have that exclusive mod. Else, what is there to show off?

Giving people the primed chamber or not, is only matter if they happens to beat you at the "last screen of the mission" aka total damage dealt. Yeah, so unique. And you probably not going to see that person again soon.

All i can see is that the OP is not that bright...to think that having that mod is an achievement to show off...to some random three players that he/she probably not gonna meet again...soon.

  9. It is the players that ask for power creep.

The endless of QQ threads about "buff this, nerf that" proved the point. If you're not happy with power creep, then go blame the player base.

New weapon but fall into a category of an existing weapon will always be subjected to "comparison". If it's better than the old weapon, it will be called "OP", thus, need to buff the old weapons. If it's not as strong as people expected, it will need a "buff". That's the real power creep.

Unless DE put in a weapon that is in its own category, like the Ballistica, then the "buff this, nerf that" will happen.

Use it as bolt action. line up your targets so 1 shot can kill multiple targets. I only put shred in. I'm fine without speed trigger or shred or fast reload. All i need is to carefully line up my marks and kill them w/o fails. In real life, snipers need time to line up their shots perfectly because of projectile speed, the winds, the gravity effects. It's not bam bam hit scan like in majority of video games. Go play games that you have to deal a shot with 1 Km distance, gravity drops, while hitting moving target. That's the real challenge. The hit scan sniper means you're only play with child toy sniper, not a real sniper. The charge time gives me time to line up my targets, so it's not a problem.

My role in group is to kill heavies/ancients, and i learned to line up in a way that i can hit both weak point of heavies/ancient, along with the weaker enemies.

I don't even use my Snipetron Vandal. I use my Lex (forma multiple times) to quickly kill off weak targets. So basically I always have a mini hit scan sniper, to use when open a door to new room. Snipetron Vandal will fail to kill of heavies/ancients at high lvl, only good thing is killing weaker mobs fast at higher lvl range.

  11. If the event is to be repeated again, i would like to see faction lock, if the reward would be decided by the winning side.

    or

if no faction lock, then only let each account play a maximum number of repeat per battle (about 20). That way, huge clan-no life will not have advantage over the casual player by influence the outcome. Also, disable the winning/losing indicator, and put it as time limit. This will completely erase the bias that everyone will side the winning side for the obviously better reward. The winning/losing will be determined by number of missions that were done by corpus/grineer, which ever side has higher number will win.

My only disappointment about this event is about the whole issue of switching side easily.

  12. With current reward (get the winning side weapon even if you support them or not) then they should have lock the side from the start, then it will prevent ppl from doing 100 mission, and have to try harder for the losing side.

But since we can switch side easily, then, why should the losing side fight harder when most people can just switch side and get the better version of the reward?

Honestly, it seems that ppl who support the current reward or that loser deserves nothing ignored this flaw in the event.

  13. The problem is having player switch sides easily. If they had locked the faction from the start, then people who has been supporting corpus will try even harder to win the next fight, but because of the option switching side, it's screw everything up: most corpus player now switched to grineer (for better reward), which then push the outcome even further to grineer side.

  14. First of all, if there is a side locking, then i agree with the whole thing of having the loser getting the winner's blueprint. However, because we can switch side, so everyone who sees that he/she can only get the winning side weapon, they would switch side so they get the better reward (free plat). That's the problem with current reward system.

  15. I think they should change the reward for tier 3. If I support corpus, and corpus did not win, then i should get the blueprint for the detron, not the grineer weapon. The same applies for grineer side. Because the reward right now will force everyone to have the same weapon, regardless which side they choose. I want the weapon from the side that i support.

  16. The key is that Sniper can land most of the shots at the head, while braton can only land at most half of the shots at the head (even if you argue that braton has the same accuracy or range as vulkar). I have been playing warframe as a sniper, and I can claim that I ignore the little grunts and only go for the big and heavy ones. I let my team mate deals with the little grunts. The only buff snipers need to get is exclusive puncture mods for them (1m, while other rifle uses regular puncture).

  17. They just need to make puncture mods specifically for sniper weapon, like they have thunderbolt for paris/dread. These puncture applies for snipetron, vulkar (1 m max). Right now, Lanka does not benefit from puncture (tested it). It doesn't make sense for a plasma to puncture, but it's also does not make sense for shooting electric with lower projectile speed than bullets. For Lanka, they need to make a mod that increase projectile speed and and some small explosion with small radius (1m radius) with the concept that electric explode and zap nearby object/target deals 30 damage that scale with mods. It does not make sense at all for Orgris to have high aoe radius, while lanka (same grade) does not benefit from any kind of aoe.

  18. Because each shot for Sicarus is like 25 damage each, if you're pulling down the mouse while shooting, you can possibly have all shots hit the same spot (mid-close range) so it's 75 damage per burst. You can have a total of 5 bursts per clip.

For Lex, due to its high recoil and long reload time, you can hardly use it for close range, only good for mid-long range. Despite that it has 6 shots per clip.

  19. If you need a side arm for long range and accuracy, go with Lex. For mid range and mid-accuracy, Kraken and alkbolto. For short range and burst, go with bronco/dual bronco, viper/twin viper.

Sicarus is very good, but you must be able to control its recoil by pulling your mouse down while bursting. If you can't, it's better to take any other sidearms above, except for kraken.
