Same here. But the choices they made with those bundles AND the lack of proper response (meaning addressing the outrage) have definitely damaged my confidence in them. No way back.

The thing is they are currently doing sale on platinum. But nobody forced them to do so. It’s their call. And anyway, what’s the point to buy reduced plats if some skins are locked behind real currency wall?

It’s literally their unique good option because people don’t need/want plats or (worth) regal aya, they want to be able to buy each skin individually. What does that mean? They can’t sell skins only for real money because either way it will be a new precedent. Their best move is to sell in game with plats 2 bundles : Frost skin with his crown (forget the name) and separately Mag skin with her crown (nvm). This way they are ensure to sell without discount vouchers (as discount are not allowed for bundles). So yes, I assume it’s their best move possible.

I have already my own deadline. If by the end of the week I can’t buy those skins in game with plats, I’ll quit the game. I’ll start with its uninstallation, the first one in 9 years of playtime.

Oh my goodness. Are you brain dead ? Who do you think you are ? Some kind of benefactor ? Playing for nine years on console and 10 on PC is proving we value their job. Buying those bundles is just opening your wallet. Get off your pedestal.

I will tell you what is not fair : hiding your decision behind early buyers. Raising the amount of platinums per bundle doesn’t cost you anything ! Literally. And you said: “The Heirlooms were designed with the celebratory nature of this year's TennoCon and 10-year anniversary”. So ? The way you see celebration is make a skin inaccessible to the greatest number of players instead of making the majority have access to it ? Kudos !

Nine years playing to this game and wasting platinum, nine years of inflexible support and then this slap in our face. Worst tenth anniversary ever !

Sorry Megan, that doesn’t solve any problem. Those skins might be sold without any in game currency (plat or regal aya) for platinum! Frost skin alone and Mag skin alone. Most players are sleeping on a good amount of platinums and DON’T NEED MORE. They need something to waste their platinums.

I am not only in total disagreement with this statement that creates a precedent within deluxe skins and so to arbitrarily separate cosmetics into categories but it seems obvious that there is no unambiguous way to define the label “Prime Accessory level”, what invalidates the very existence of such a category. Moreover, if you do not see the pattern that is emerging and tends to eliminate as much as possible the platinums of the equation (since the game arrives on mobile) you are woefully wrong.

1. Remove the time limited purchase of tier 1 and 2. Double the amount of regal aya in tier 1 to allow the direct purchase of both warframes (6 is just enough for 1 purchase). 2. Remove the lower tier bundle :I’m pretty sure nobody bought or will buy it. Who cares about a bunch of sigils or emotes. 3. Have a bundle with the two skins w the crows (sorry forget the name) without any type of currency : no regal aya nor platinum. As there is no currency, this bundle will be purchasable through traditional currency i.e. plat (around more or less 500). If DE want this bundle to be time limited, fair enough : the tier 1 and 2 aren’t. 4. Make each skin purchasable separately without crown (all deluxe bundle have an incentive through cosmetics not purchasable outside bundle) for platinum of course (more or less 200p). If DE want they may time limited those skins.

There are multiple issues with those bundles. The price is for a bunch of people, the aya situation (DE forces you to buy something you don’t need), the FOMO and the currency. Mine in particular is the currency. I’m pretty sure that, at some point in time, if we don’t report the scam, DE will try to implement the model for all type of cosmetics leaving the platinum system only for, let’s say, the slots (warframes, weapons, companions, etc.) They can keep the bundles as they are for the people who already bought one AND give access to the skin individually in the in game shop with platinums. And if I’m correct, they already did it in the past with the support Namer Bundle purchasable with real currency and skins alone with plat. One more thing: this is definitely not the same story with the Excalibur Prime precedent. Exca P. was a way for DE to survive until next updates hopping for better times. After 10 years, we can argue without a doubt, that the longevity of the game is acquired and DE doesn’t need predatory behavior to succeed. Some people here are playing for 10 or 9 years, there surely are more supporters that those who are buying those bundles after one or two years in game. Seems to me that DE is saying: “Warframe is a FTP game but only for rich players.”

You know what? Let’s think about it. Do you really believe the two expansions they shown are the future of Warframe they were talking about weeks before the show? Not even close. The real future from their point of view is the mobile version of the game and the cross saved is just a mean for an end. When we received the cross play, we were all very pleased. Bbut I always though it wasn’t a gift to the community but a necessity for the longevity of the game, because there is less and less players. The unification was and is a solution to hide this fact. In this perspective, the mobile version is the new frontier. They hope to replicate the success of Fortnite. And the in game purchases have to be straight forward and in real currency to please Apple. They only talked about iOS version, right? And I do think they took this decision at the last moment before Tennocon because, if I’m right, the skins are linkable in chat.

The price or the time limit are not the problem here. DE has an in game currency that they are not happy with, those past years. With this bundle they are taking the temperature’s feedback of the players. They may want to stop platinum because some trades are making to money (namely the rivens). I have been an FTP player for nine years and I earn more platinum than I spend and yet I buy skins, arcanes and rivens.

I will be cristal clear. This year is insane. With all the amazing games available and coming, this is the perfect year to stop Warframe. If DE does not quickly return to the possibility of using ingame currency, after nine years of playing I will quit.
