DO YOU EVEN TAKE SOME ACTION OR WE JUST HERE MOAMING LIKE  KIDS... PAY ATTENTION TO BUG REPORTS OK. 2nd day since i have this bug after getting back on ship part "the conclusion" is bugged when i must receive rewards for completing quest the "sacrifice" screen goes GREY and says Please, WAIT ... 2nd day already its not a joke cant play WARFRAME. DO SOMETHING

Here's a tip: instead of being an a$$hole, maybe realize that you aren't the only one reporting issues and DE has a LOT to deal with. Also, forums are best for bugs that aren't game breaking or can be worked around. If you have an issue that is actually stopping you from playing the game or progressing, then that's where you should file a support ticket. Forums do get looked at, but they have a lot to sift through to find your one little problem. The PC version of Warframe is basically a public Beta, so bugs are going to happen and you aren't always going to get an immediate fix.

  2. I can confirm that the fix for the Ballas/burning tree confrontation getting stuck is to remove mods and possibly consmetics from Umbra and his weapon. Not sure what specifically is causing the holdup, but I just removed everything from Umbra, his exalted weapon, and his melee weapon, and that worked. The fight was significantly harder and longer (obviously) and after defeating the last sentient, the cutscene continued as it should have. Definitely needs to be fixed, but at least there's a workaround.

Wow right. I did not expect someone would take it this personally. I do not consider something like 22.17.3 or 22.17.0 content updates just like I do not consider Tennogen content. Skins are not content, neither are augments. By content people typically mean experience that is entirely new, such as Khora, such as Sanctuary Onslaught, such as Tridolon or what have you. Granted sure yes you can say there are plenty of fixes and we've even gotten the balance passes which have been welcome. But none of that is really what is being spoken of here. Like I said, I don't honestly mind that they are on Thursdays, doesn't change a thing for me. Would it for you? I suppose not, after all you call it " [...] just needed another day in the oven. " so it probably does not mean a lot to you either. So what would be the harm?

And yeah obviously I'd rather have it on Wednesdays, who wouldn't? But lets not be fantastic here, I am speaking of what is realistically feasible and as you mention, the last time was on 12.15.0 which is roughly 9 months ago. And the one on Wednesday before it? Yeah long ago as well. And honestly there is never a time when an update is fully operational and it is somewhat oxymoronic proposition that they arbitrarily would hold for a day or some, when that is exactly what they are doing already, that is: ' we are taking time whip the update in shape ', a process which I don't have a problem with, but a spade is a spade, eh. Just to add, they have actually said Wednesday is the officially considered release date, that of course does not mean they meet their goals because design work is, after all, hard to predict.

Well, first of all, it doesn't really matter what you consider content...what basically everyone else considers content is anything added to the game that isn't just bug fixes. Anything with art assets of any kind counts as content, so that includes augments, weapons, etc. Secondly, they've been doing nearly weekly content drops for years, and Wednesday has been their target release day for those for a long time, so that's what everyone is talking about, and that is what I'm referring to. They never said that Wednesday was their target release day for this or any major update, everyone just assumes it is because that's when they've almost always tried to get the weekly content drops out by. My whole point is that they do not have a "release day" for updates. There is no "Wednesday/Thursday is the normal release day for updates, so that's when you should expect them". This whole "Wednesday is the normal day that content drops are released" should not be used to pressure them into releasing updates, it is simply the day they shoot for internally to release updates. So when they say to expect it this week, they mean that and it could release anytime from now until the end of Saturday, or even later if they have to delay it further. That is why I'm saying to stop arguing about what day should be "update day", because there is no "update day", not for us. There is no day that we should expect updates to arrive on, because they are released when they're ready. So, that's that, end of story, shut up about it now.

Could we just make major update dates officially Thursdays? It does not affect me as I am in no hurry but having been on forums long enough to notice that some people make special plans with the assumption that patch targets are Wednesdays when it typically is Thursdays (I can not recall rhe last time a major patch released on Wednesday but I think it was pre-Second Dream era). I am sure those players would appreciate it if you made Thursday official major patch day and it'd be good for business to be clear to your playrbase that is more hesitant to experience new content.

Can't recall, huh? Well, let me educate you: 22.17.3, 22.17.0, and 12.15.0 were 3 non-hotfix content updates of 6 since the beginning of march that came out on a Wednesday. 1 of those 6, Zephyr Prime's release, was on a Tuesday. The other two were on Thursday, and those two were very large updates with a huge list of changes and fixes. My point here is that just in the last two months, the majority of the major patches came out on Wednesday, not Thursday, and the ones that did were large and just needed another day in the oven. Thus, updates "typically" release on Wednesday. I for one would much rather them release the updates earlier if they have them ready, so a Wednesday release target is a good choice as it's directly halfway through the work week and gives them 2 more days after release to bug fix before the weekend. Just because SOME updates end up delayed to Thursday doesn't mean they should ALL be pushed to a Thursday release arbitrarily. Would it make sense for you to hold onto a project you were working on for 1 extra day, even though you were done with it, just because you decided that Thursday would be the day you turn it in? No, it wouldn't, that's why this argument is so stupid. Wednesday is their TARGET release day for major updates, but it's not a concrete release window. To my knowledge, they have never stated that Wednesday is the official release day for updates, it's just their internal target, and if they meet it, great! If not, oh well, we have to wait another day or two. Can we please end this stupid a$$ argument already?

Unless patches get delayed every single wednesday, you're very much mistaken. It's been thursday and it is thursday. No crap about timezones either, since patches here (Norway) hit around 1-3am, so i guess technically friday, but thursday for DE, thursday evening.

    29 minutes ago, Icari said:

If every update gets delayed from wednesday to thursday, patch day is thursday isn't it? :) hey ho logic.

Patches don't get delayed every single Wednesday. You can clearly see that by looking in the forum for the patch note threads. A chunk of them are on Thursdays, but most of the main content updates are on Wednesdays (not counting hotfixes, which can land at any time).

Trying to be a Knight in Shining armour?

It's obvious to everyone that every update that has actual content in it is on Thursdays now. They are almost guaranteed to be delayed by now unless their bugfixes.

No, no it's not. By DE's timezone, most non-hotfix updates release on Wednesdays with a few exceptions, mainly .0 releases (major updates), which often end up getting delayed by a day or two due to the massive amount of changes. Regardless, Wednesdays are the update days that DE shoots for to release updates. Obviously they don't always hit them, but that's what they shoot for, and it's due to them wanting to have a couple days before the weekend to fix bugs and patch the game. You can argue all you want, but it will never make you right.

  6. DE, please PLEASE fix bounties! They break so often I practically have to do them all twice to get the rewards once. Stuff like the armored vault not opening, to capture targets not spawning, to never getting a next objective, to multiple objectives going at once, to objectives not continuing once complete (like kill all enemies in area never continuing from that once you've kill all the enemies, it just keeps spawning enemies endlessly). There are so many bugs that completely break the bounties that it's almost expected at this point that a bounty will inevitably bug out and have to be restarted at least once. I'm just blown away by how unstable this system is and that none of it has been fixed yet. The armored vault not opening bug has been there since day one and still isn't fixed.

Also, please fix the matchmaking for Cetus in general. Almost without fail, when I try to join a squad for bounties, if someone in the squad was already on Cetus when we all joined up, it becomes impossible to enter the plains, probably because we aren't all on the same instance of Cetus. Would be nice if everyone would just get pulled to the same instance the host is on when joining up. Oh, and please please PLEASE fix the bloody host migrations because they almost always fail and cause me to lose a ton of progress and resources. It's infuriating!

Edit: Oh yeah, and fix the bloody chat requiring you to press enter twice to post message while in Cetus or the plains.

  7. Fix the bloody host migrations constantly failing already! I've lost hours worth of work because I'm out there fishing, mining, etc, and completed bounties, and then the host leaves or disconnects or whatever and it fails to migrate and I just get kicked back to Cetus with nothing. I really wish you would make the game save resources, rewards, etc as you get them instead of forcing us to return to Cetus to actually keep everything. It's infuriating and it's completely killing my enjoyment of this update. I've had nothing but frustrations and I'm honestly thinking about just quitting altogether. I'm absolutely amazed at how many bugs and fricking game breaking problems slipped in with this update, and incredibly obvious things too. It's bad enough that Gara parts are so bloody hard to get, but with all the stupid rewards like credits and common mods, as well as bounties glitching and stopping progress, and then these bloody host migration problems, it's just infuriating to do anything besides fishing. I've been playing for hours and hours, done countless bounties, and I have one, I repeat ONE Gara part. I have probably one or two of the unique mods, and the rest of the rewards have been the occasional lens, some endo, and a S#&$ ton of credits and mods I already have hundreds of. Mission rewards are supposed to be exciting, but you guys don't seem to understand that. It's fine if you have "crap" rewards, but those crap rewards need to still be good. Vitality mods and credit caches are so fricking mundane that getting them makes me want to punch a hole in my monitor. I just don't understand how you guys have not learned this lesson already. First it was Sorties, which, btw, still have some of the S#&$tiest rewards for the time investment of any mode in the game, and now these bounties are giving sorties a run for their money. The only "good" thing about bounties is that we can do them multiple times a day, but it's still almost unbearable already. Not only are they incredibly repetitive, but with all the bugs, all the running in-between, and the S#&$ty &#! rewards, I just don't want to keep doing them over and over again. If we got one of the rewards for every bounty stage, that would definitely help a lot, but somehow I doubt that will actually happen. Just...ugh...please do something to mitigate the grind and mix things up a LITTLE. I want to love this update, but so far it's mostly been a headache. I know people joke about the fishing being the best part, but honestly, it really is, and that's kinda sad. The rest of it should really be way better than it is, and I should be excited to go out and do more, but I'm not because I know that inevitably I'm going to lose even more rewards from stupid bugs and host migration issues.

  8. DE, just give the dang sigil to everyone who's linked their accounts with Twitch. Basically everyone who has would have watched someone get the achievement by now (why else would they link their accounts to twitch?), so it's really the only fair thing to do at this point. I've watched half a dozen streamers get the achievement already, some of them multiple times, and still, no sigil. It's getting ridiculous and at this point is starting to feel like a ploy by you guys to get us to watch more twitch streams of Warframe. I'd like to think that you guys wouldn't do something that scummy, but I honestly can't tell right now. You say not to open a support ticket, but something is obviously wrong on your end and you haven't fixed the bloody problem completely, and I'm frankly getting tired of wasting time and bandwidth watching so many streamers (something I don't normally do) just to get a stupid exclusive, time sensitive sigil that you refuse to give to us to make good on your failures. This stupid sigil thing is pretty much my only major qualm about this whole update, apart from the random bugs, so please, just give it to us already and stop this nonsense. Besides, I'm sure the many, many streamers are getting tired of doing the achievement over and over again. It's not fair to them and it's not fair to us.

  9. Yep, just came here to post this. Hopefully they fix this soon. Goopolla aren't exactly easy to get considering how hard they are to see, so farming the small ones is actually significantly harder than the larger ones, thus making getting the spleens that much more difficult.

  10. Two things:

Firstly, please fix the Lenz's inconsistent cold proccing. I've noticed that it will proc the cold aura whenever it hits an allied player, a dead body, and maybe even just enemies as well. The problem with this is that the visual aura that then explodes does not form (seemingly) at all unless it hits a solid surface like a wall or the floor. Hitting enemies has inconsistent results, and hitting allied players just procs the cold and nothing else. As is, I don't have a problem with the explosive aura not appearing if the arrow hits a player as that would be extremely annoying, but I also like if it wouldn't do the cold proc if it hits an allied player. Countless times, an allied player would walk in from of me JUST as I'm firing and I'd then have to deal with being slowed for a while. Really irritating. Please, make it so it only procs cold if hitting an enemy, dead body, or wall/floor. Also, please make it so the visual explosive aura appears more consistently. I've actually been blown up with that aura after it's appeared invisibly, which is VERY frustrating. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if you'd just remove penetration on the projectiles completely. Considering how these particular projectiles work, penetration really isn't helpful at all and just messes things up. I know it's a bow, but it just causes more problems than anything.

Secondly, Hydroid's tentacles are really underwhelming now, visually speaking. Would be nice if they sported some nice bio-luminescent spots or something based on energy color, that way they would stand out more. In certain, dark environments, they are really hard to see as of now. Also, as someone else suggested, it would be really nice if we could actually see into his puddle to see the enemies and be able to actually shoot them. Would also be nice if enemies were dragged along with the puddle as he moves. I would also like for Tidal Surge to have a minimum duration/distance as running a low duration build (as is fairly normal for a damage hydroid) basically makes the ability completely useless. You basically move an inch and that's it. It's useless, completely and utterly useless. No stat changes, no matter how drastic, should make any ability completely useless. You could fix this by simply making the speed affected by strength instead of duration, which would really make more sense in my mind, then just make the wake last an amount of time based on the duration, that way even if you have a small duration and the wave lasts only a second or so, the increased speed based on strength would allow you to move a good distance in a short period of time. This would also allow us to mod the ability to either be a short-lived, fast wave, or a long lasting, slow-moving wave. Just some thoughts.

    Dear Developers,

What is the bug in the sortie? The defend target has died randomly I was trying 3 times and he has died randomly. Plus I died randomly too. I cannot finish my daily sortie mission. Any solution or I must wait for next rotation? is a bug at Oberon?

    Thanks

    Rush

Ah, there, someone else having the same issue. I had this happen 3 freakin times where the stupid operative died randomly, no bleedout, insta-fail. The third time it happened, the wave had barely started and I was playing Limbo, so I banished him...and he just fell over dead. No explaination, nothing, he just died. There were no enemies to shoot him and his health and shields were full. I finally beat it miraculously with a team of 3 frost primes and a saryn, and somehow we won, but we didn't finish in time to start the third mission. On one of the attempts, two of my squadmates also just randomly died without explaination and didn't go into bleedout, so there is definitely a major bug in the game and it really pisses me off. The one time I decide to come back and play a sortie and I can't even do it because of a stupid bug. Guess it's back to not playing again for a month.

  12. Okay DE, this is bad. There is a MAJOR bug in the game that's causing players and NPCs alike to randomly die without going into bleedout. I've now tried the sortie defense 3 times and every time the operator has randomly just died. No bleedout, nothing, he just falls over dead and the mission fails. Two of my squadmates also said they just died without going into bleedout, so they had to use a revive. I don't know if this has something to do with the Oberon rework and/or phoenix renewal (we had an oberon on the team this time), but this needs to be fixed ASAP. I'm going to try the sortie ONE more time, but if I fail again, I'm done, I'm just done. This kind of stuff should NEVER get through testing or last this long without a hotfix.

Edit: Well, finally beat the sortie defense, but thanks to this stupid bug, not soon enough and I couldn't do the 3rd mission in time, so all that work was for nothing. This kind of stuff REALLY makes me want to keep playing this game.

I can't login to my warframe account on my Android device or on my warframe PC since early this morning. Like 7hrs ago. The issue is saying server not responsive. Are some warframe servers down?

Don't know if it's related, but I'm getting a crash when I try to login on my PC. Interestingly enough, it immediately freezes and then crashes when I type the letter "r" in the password field and it's repeatable. No idea what is causing this very odd crash, but since I've been able to login since the last update, I assume it's a server side issue.

    • Fixed Nezha’s Warding Grace Augment not ending when all Energy has been consumed.

What happened here? Nezha doesn't have an augment called Warding Grace...Warding Grace is an Amesha archwing ability. Nezha's Warding Halo (similar name) has an augment called Safeguard, but it's not channeled, so this shouldn't apply to it either. I'm guessing this is for Warding Grace, but if so, this note is really messed up. Please clarify what this is actually supposed to be.

  15. Okay, I know you needed to nerf the Simulor, but did you have to break it entirely? The orbs do not stack, at all. They get sucked to the same location, but they never form a vortex, no matter how many I shoot. They simply gather up at the same spot and...that's it. No stacking animation, no stacking damage, no vortex, nothing. The manual explosions still do damage like they should, but that's the ONLY way to do damage with the weapon. Note, this is with the Sinoid variant, I haven't tried with the regular version, but come on DE, how did this get through your QA? Please fix this ASAP.

  16. Thanks for the update. Cool new weapon, lots of good fixes, good stuff. However...can we please recolor our Wraith and Vandal stuff already? I mean come on, how is it a GOOD thing to remove a feature from certain weapons and cosmetics that are supposed to be better? That reasoning that it's for bragging rights is ridiculous. That's what the Prime gold coloring was for originally, but we can recolor that now, so why not Wraith and Vandal stuff? "Hey man, I got a cool new Ferrari in bright red! It's so rad! Great thing about it is it doesn't have wheels! It's so it stands out from all the others!

While all the other red Ferraris are cruising down the highway, mine is stuck in the driveway and standing out like a sore thumb! It's so great!" I hope that sounded ridiculous to you, because it was, and it's the same principal for Wraith and Vandal items. Removing our ability to customize these items just makes us not want to use them, or to put a skin on it when one becomes available. Unfortunately, there's no skin for the Ignis, so I'm not even going to bother building the weapon. I don't need the mastery, and I don't need a slightly better Ignis that can't fit my color scheme. Thanks for the event, but I feel like I got nothing out of it. The cosmetics look worse than the originals because we can't recolor them, and you didn't even bother to PBR them in the process, so I'll never use them as they look terrible. And the Ignis is the same story, I won't use it because it looks like crap with that boring black and red color scheme.

It's design decisions like these that are pushing me away from this game. I haven't even done a Sortie in the last like 3 days, which is crazy because I'm pretty sure I only missed one since Rivens were added. I was considering buying Banshee prime access, but again, I'm holding off because I just don't feel like it's worth it right now. There's not enough to do in the game and you're still not fixing these basic problems with the game. This event was extremely lackluster and seemingly lazy. The new mode could be interesting if it mixed up the formula a bit, but right now it's pretty mind-numbingly boring. And the rewards we got from this were again lackluster. Just reskins of stuff we already have, but skins we can't customize.

I'd rather get a slap in the face as a reward to snap me out of the trance that boring a$$ mode put me in. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm pretty disappointed and I hope that the bard frame comes out soon and is good enough to rekindle my passion for Warframe, because right now, it's fading fast, and events like this do not help at all.

  17. I was just doing an exterminate mission today and I was disappointed to find out that not only does the on-screen waypoint for extraction disappear after a time (as the patch notes stated), but it also completely disappears from the minimap as well, I'm guessing because enemies are still present and so it's using the red dot indicator to tell you where the closest enemies are instead of the extraction waypoint like it should be using. So I was forced to aimlessly search for extraction manually and the extraction waypoint only popped up occasionally when I came upon a locked door or something. Please fix this and give us an option to toggle whether the waypoint turns off eventually or not. I personally would like to have it on-screen at all times and it would be very nice if I had that option. Thanks, and looking forward to the clan event.

  18. So this was happening to me in the simulacrum:MgWh3dH.jpg

    5v2Pf3A.jpg

Corpus Tech's bullets were weirdly being pulled to a point at the back of the map, no matter what direction he was firing, they were pulled to the same point. I was not being hurt unless I moved into their path. I'm guessing this has to do with actually projectiles as bullets from a corrupted heavy gunner (hitscan) were hitting me just fine.

  19. 1 minute ago, Chipputer said:

I wasn't aware that an explosive launching weapon was weird, mechanically, nor was I aware that building a shotgun into one of them made it weird. Hm.

It's the fact that the projectiles bounce all over the place as well as launch you in the air, and the Zarr is there because it has secondary explosions and it's the fact that it has two very different fire modes. It's not the same as with the Stratavar that just has auto vs semi-auto. The Zarr is literally two guns in one. The thing is though, I mentioned those because I couldn't really think of too many others that had super weird mechanics. Most of the other weapons are basically just normal weapons with a slight twist. I guess another example would be the scissor-whip weapons. Being able to pull enemies or pull yourself toward them is pretty unique, but again, there just aren't that many truly unique, unusual mechanics among the weapons. The Simulor I think is the first truly unique weapon and it's also my favorite weapon at the moment. With that said, is there a reason you decided to critique that little statement, which is completely subjective, instead of actually commenting on the idea for the new weapon? You got the point of the statement, the specific examples I mentioned aren't really that important.

  20. Been playing this game for over two years. I got Hate probably within my first couple months of playing (I know, super lucky), but I still haven't seen Despair. Hell, I haven't even seen another player use Despair. It's absurd. I have every other weapon, warframe, companion, archwing in the game (yes, even Hema, my clan farmed it out a couple weeks ago), but I still don't have Despair...well, I do, just not the weapon version. I refuse to buy the stalker bundle just for it though. Let's face it guys, Despair is a myth, it doesn't exist in the drop tables. If it ever did, it doesn't anymore. And to the guy who said increasing the drop rate would dishonor those that farmed it...bullS#&$. You can't really farm Stalker. It's super low RNG stacked on super low RNG. This isn't the Hema...you didn't work hard to get Despair...you just got lucky.

  21. So I was just thinking a bit about the different weapons in the game, and it's quite clear to me that the weapons I like the most are ones with weird/unusual mechanics, like the Simulor, Tonkor, Zarr, etc. It's where Warframe sets itself apart from other games like it. Unfortunately, we also get a lot of upgrade type weapons, that are basically just reskins of past weapons with slightly different or better stats, maybe a special bonus ability (i.e. Heliocor or Cernos Prime) but not really different mechanics. You still smash things in the face with the Heliocor and headshot with the Cernos Prime just like you do other hammers and bows, even if the Cernos Prime does shoot a volley of arrows instead of just one (or two with multishot).

With all that said, I was thinking of a new weapon type that would be fun to use and useful, but would be different from anything else we've ever had in the game. What I came up with is basically a Drone Bomber. I'm not sure what faction it should fit in with, though Corpus probably makes the most sense and is how I envision it. You would basically have a Drone Replicator as the weapon and it would launch a drone that would fly in an arc (think an arrow, but slower and with a more exaggerated arc) and along it's flight path it would drop bombs/grenades (could be energy based if Corpus weapon or kinetic if Grineer based). Once fired, the drone would fly in an automated line over enemies, however, if fired with the alt-fire, then the drone remains under your control and you can steer it's trajectory, similar to Nova's Antimatter Drop, and it can either be steered into enemies for a massive explosion for tons of damage, or alt-fire can be pressed again to drop it's full payload directly below it and then it would drop straight down and explode for much less damage (since it no longer has it's payload) but would proc an electrical surge that would arc between enemies and stun them for a duration. Also, while flying along it's automated arc if fired normally, if it gets close enough it would arc electrical procs to enemies that would stun them, but this would also cause it to lose power over time and the more procs it does the lower it flies until it eventually crashes for an explosion with damage based on it's remaining payload.

As for stats, I'll leave those up to the designers, but what I had in mind for it is giving it high status and high crit, but balance it by giving them a sort of tug-of-war property. The higher you mod crit chance, the more status chance is reduced, and vice versa. This will allow players to choose which they want to mod it toward without making it too powerful. Flight speed mods could be used to increase the drone's flight speed. Fire rate would increase the electrical arcs as well as bomb drop rate. Accuracy mods could be used to change it's bomb dropping pattern to be more sporadic as well as to affect it's steering speed. The Sinister Reach mod could be used to increase the range of the electrical arcs (But again, this would cause more procs and thus it would die more quickly). Magazine capacity mods would increase the drone's payload. Also, on that note, the weapon would work similarly to the Azima alt-fire where the magazine capacity actually denotes the drone's payload size and upon fire it, the magazine capacity drops to zero and a reload is required to shoot another. Therefore the max ammo actually just denotes the total payload rather than the number of drones. The number of drones is thus dependent on the magazine capacity as well as the max ammo value. More max ammo and less ammo capacity means more drones overall, but less payload per drone. Less payload per drone means less energy exerted to carry that payload, thus more battery for doing electrical arcs and thus it can fly longer while doing electrical arcs. This would allow the player to favor crowd control instead of damage, or vice versa, as less payload means less damage during it's flight and less damage when it explodes.

Overall, what I had in mind for this weapon was versatility and player choice. It could be used in a lot of different ways and can be modded to fit pretty much exactly what the player wants without being too over powered. This would also give us another really good crowd control weapon, of which there are very few. I'm honestly not expecting much notice to be paid to this idea, but I would be ecstatic to see a weapon like this in the game as it would be extremely unique and a lot of fun to play around with. Please let me know what you think and feel free to add ideas for tweaks/additions below...I'm very open to suggestions!

  22. STILL no fix for:

    - The lump on Frost Harka's right hip. Seriously guys, come on, you removed the lump on the left side but have been completely neglecting the same lump on the right side. How does something like this get past you when you are fixing the same thing on the other side? Please fix this, it looks so stupid.

    - Bard frame still not released. This is a major issue that needs to be rectified pronto! (joking of course, but I seriously can't wait!)
