  1. I, like many of you currently looking at this subforum, have had an issue with joining missions and alerts already in progress since the Strict NAT patch; getting a "Host Unreachable" error, or "Session Unavailable". Hosting worked for me, but sucked having to actively recruit people for running regular mission nodes and whatnot.

Then I noticed something; everyone getting the error was running on a 64 bit OS, as was I. So, I went into the launcher options and disabled 64-bit mode, got a small patch (???), launched the game, and no issue getting into a mission.

It's worth a shot at least, and if enough people can reproduce this fix, it'll point DE to some FUBAR code in the 64-bit networking stack to shoot trouble at.

  2. I'm at a loss here. Until the 12.3 update, I'd been playing fine. But since then, I can only host missions. Aside from having to nab some poor folks out of the Recruitment channel and drag them around so I can have my fun, has anyone found some way of playing without having to host? (The mob accuracy is REAL!) A proxy server/service I could run, or anything? Because from the thread on the Strict NAT update, I might be playing on the Solo queue for awhile. :(

  3. Will also say "same here" on most of these bugs; can't join in-progress games (really screwed me out of a lot of alerts recently), can only host, if I attempt to join an in-progress game, I'll either get a black screen (which requires killing the game in Task Manager) or a "Session Unavailable" or "Host Unreachable" error.

And before it's asked (since that seems to be question 1 for troubleshooting this) no, there is NOT an EE.log file.

  4. For me, the game actually hard locks (no CTD, just sits on a black screen and have to kill the game in Task Manager) after the mission vote timer counts down. I can start solo missions (yay?) but if the game even touches the matchmaker, boom! Got a message in-game from one of the devs or QA people, asking for the infamous EE.log file; there is no EE.log file. Worked like a champ pre- 15.12.
