  1. Just found this topic after posting in suggestions. I can verify that the drones have no hp bars and cannot be killed.

Used melee and fluctus fire with no effect. Drones never took damage or blew up. There were no indicators or callouts to destroy them either.

Drones were absolutely flying through the ships to confirm above. Most of them seemed to be flying around inside the ship itself.

  2. Just tried an archwing rush to see what it was like currently but when I got to the three transport ships they were all invincible.

I tried attacking (melee and shooting) in and around all three for a good 30 seconds each but they all flew away with zero damage taken. I noted that they had silver hp bars indicating invincibility the entire time.

Is this mode just totally broken or is there some secret to making them vulnerable the game doesn't tell you now?

About 99% sure Console Players  are going to be unable to cast his other abilities while in Mach Rush due to how casting abilities works with controls. So maybe don’t have synergies that would be completely impossible for Console Players.

This has always been a major issue that was ignored for new Warframes and reworks. Directional control and powers are on the same thumb.

It's why I posted about speed power and direction on the same thumb. It makes most power use impossible while steering. It also makes aimed powers nearly impossible to use while moving with a controller.

Gauss could use a form of glancing hit directional adjustment to smooth out navigation. Make his 1 a modal effect and have the blast on end regardless if it is manually activated or when you are stopped due to clipping. Glancing angle can set a threshold for when he "bounces" or "stops and explodes".

  4. This is a steering issue not a power issue. In most maps you will not be able to speed run without having to adjust direction almost immediately.

It makes no sense that this power is not modal anyways. I'd be surprised if anyone uses the burst move except in extreme cases or misfires of the full run. Plus modal would be able to simulate the burst with a double press or looking just aiming at a solid object.

Arcwings were the same issue. Boost and steering on the same thumb. I don't feel unjustified in my disappointment after fighting for years to fix arcwing just to see a Warframe have the exact same issue.

  5. Short version you have hold for power to run fast while steering is done from the same hand. It's the same issue that took years to fix with Arcwing controls.

This needs to be a modal power or we need to start talking about custom controls per Warframe again.

I'm disappointed we are still seeing a Warframe that I'm essentially locked out of playing unless I set up a weird controller config. Not sure how this will even make it to console without the standard control setup making Gauss's basic functions nearly impossible to use.

I hope someone at DE can get on this right away. It's a really big feels bad man after the history of controller last development.

  6. So basically if you want to use the new Amalgam Javlok with a Shield that has Guard Derision you are boned unless they manage to randomly shoot at you?

    This is not good news.

Edit:  How do we get a message to DE to ask them to just temporarily swap the whole blocking requirement to channel requirement at least temporarily?

  7. Just started using a very creative build for shields and used the Guardian Derision mod for the first time. How can I tell if this mod is working correctly? The mod itself has no information on how the taunt works.

Is there a pulse or is it always supposed to be on? Is there a cooldown between taunts? Does it only taunt single enemies or all enemies?

From my time playing with it equipped I have not been able to decide if it's working at all or if enemies are just randomly targeting me because I'm closer?  Sometimes they just run past or ignore me entirely.

This mod needs to have way more information on it's mechanics added to the text so we can decide if it's worth even having equipped.

  8. Not sure if this was answered but you can roll into the 3rd Profit Taker bounty for a Gravimag. It's where you get ahold of the arch-gun deploy item for your gear wheel so you can't really use Gravimags until you get that anyhow.

Requires Fortuna United rep at maximum rank.

Note:  Gravimag is used to add to your Arch-guns (each one needs a gravimag separately) to make them equippable in the special Heavy Weapon slot of your Arch-wing loadout screen. Once you have a weapon in the heavy weapon slot you can then add the Arch-Gun deployment item to your gear wheel. It will be locked out of your gear wheel until you proceed through these steps.

  9. Any kind of drag to point abilities often have this bug show up.  Using Khora makes this bug easy to reproduce with her chain dome.  Enemies just vanish once they are grabbed.  I assume like Nidus they fall under the terrain clipping but cannot re-emerge to hang. Sadly that means all the loot drops associated with those kills never show up.

This was bug was noted in the forum around launch but the thread is likely long buried.

  10. Old bug since Plains of Eidolon.  It has issues because the frame has to align funny to animate correctly before the throw.  This will give you a big pause before you throw as the game adjusts.

You can do it if you change your facing direction and avoid a lot of the lag but it's touchy. Don't expect this is high on the fix priority since it's one frame and it kinda breaks how fishing was intended to work.

  11. This is an old bug you can get as a client while lagging slightly.  I used to use it as a shield with the Augment mod all the time...

Probably happens when you move ahead of where the drop spawns and it gets trapped inside your frame clipping. It is probably immune to exploding on your Warframe so it doesn't constantly blow up by accident.  If you brush it against another surface or an enemy it should pop.

  12. Just in case this was missed it appears fishing in Orb Vallis with controller is broken.  When controller inputs are detected the fishing interface is removed so you cannot use the shockpulse to catch fish.  The meter does not appear so unless you are a good guesser you will lose the fish.

This also means you cannot throw bait or dyes using the fishing interface either.

When you make a mouse or key input the interface will immediately reappear until another controller input makes it vanish again.

  13. Again there are multiple threads on this.  Tombfinger currently only does AoE damage (Radiation only) in a cone behind the point of impact.

Any target hit by the projectile will never take AoE radiation damage due to this.  Also it will never hit targets behind it (which is bad since you are likely to hit targets in front first).

Test by floor shooting beside and behind targets.

  14. There is a thread on this in the Fortuna forums.  Tombfinger AoE splash only fires in a backwards cone from the impact point.

That's why you won't see AoE damage the target you hit or anything behind it.  You can test this in the Simulacrum with groups.  Shooting beside or behind targets will cause AoE (only radiation damage).  The impact and puncture only occurs on targets hit by the projectile.

  15. Was playing in Vallis today and Opticor enemies were targeting me non-stop, through walls and even chased me half way across the map.  One shot killed 4 times by the same group.  I couldn't get near them because they could wall hack me and kill me before I closed range.

This occurred after a 4 star caused these enemies to spawn.  We cooled off (no stars) and moved to another area but enemies ran all the way from one zone to another just to shoot me from what seemed miles away with no chance at dodging.  Trying to duck behind walls just means they will keep tracking until you move out of cover then BANG dead in one.

There's difficulty and there's broken... this seems broken.

  16. Make sure you don't have standard codex scanners on your Gear Wheel or Helios will prioritize scanning with those.  If you have the infinite Simaris scanner you should have that alone.  Outside of that the Helios will chew through a LOT of scanners in Orb Vallis and Plains of Eidolon simply from scanning all the things on the ground and multiple instances.

Fish, plants, animals, enemies (all versions named separately plus multiple elite versions)... there is a LOT.

Otherwise not really sure what's going on. I know I blew out my 200 charges on accident in the first two days of Orb Vallis farming.  Forgot I left them on my wheel.

  17. Did some testing.  Confirmed that fishing interface disappears when any controller inputs occur.

Confirmed it is not Warframe specific.

Confirmed it does not matter if there are multiple items on the gear wheel or just the fishing spear.

Confirmed it does not matter which fishing tool is on the gear wheel (or multiple tools).

Confirmed this occurs on both Plains and Vallis.

Confirmed swapping spears using the gear wheel does not fix the problem

Confirmed using the mouse interface will immediately restore the fishing mode.
