I've experienced this same problem and after some testing i found out that auras don't seem to work consistently both in the circuit and when entering the undercroft in duviri. This has been an issue since Whispers in the walls released

So far i've noticed that at least brief respite, corrosive projection and energy siphon are not working when playing in the undercroft both in duviri and circuit since last month. It could be an issue with all the auras in the game but i've only tested those three so far.
