  1. I was on my octavia the other day playing a song and noticed that the delta bass audio sounds nothing like it use to.

I do not have a video at the moment of what it currently sounds like, but if you listen to this video, and then try to recreate it, you'll notice a major difference in sound. It's most noticeable on the 4th segment.

I did some searching and it seems this was an issue on pc as well, but I'm unsure if it was ever fixed?

Can you look into this DE?

Heres the old video of what it use to sound like.

  2. Ya this is kind of a deal breaker for me...

Ive played with the same setup for years and having to relearn a new setup is just frustrating.

Melee has always been my R1

Activate powers has been R3 and O has been secondary fire.

Not being able to put secondary fire/melee channel on O is messing me up and has my whole control scheme all out of whack. Hopefully DE fixes this... Cuz this has me not wanting to play ATM.

  3. My only issue is her 3. It needs to grant damage resistance.

Her 1 had me asking questions..

Is it an insta kill move?

Does the target have to die in order to get the shield? Pretty sure that's already been answered, but I can't remember.

If the target has die, than I could see this move falling off in late game when enemy scaling becomes in issue.

Other than that though, I like what I saw.

  4. Equinox can change forms to adapt to situations.

I'm pretty sure chroma doesn't need to go toxic to deal with trash mobs...

Being able to switch to electric to power a hijack? Sounds like good versatility to me and means he'd be good for other things other than being a 2/3 go character.

I mean, he's quite generic in terms of modding. You mod for duration and power strength. That's it. At least if he had the ability to change elements during a fight he would become a bit more interesting and could potentially open up more build options. Or he may not... But allowing a player more options is always a plus. And chroma being able to change his elements on command would make him a very diverse character.

  5. His 1st ability should function like Ivaras 1. Allowing you to cycle between fire, ice, electric and toxic.

Once you activate your desired choice, chroma releases a screeching shockwave that momentarily stuns all nearby enemies and makes them take 100% more damage from said element for X amount of seconds. Enemies will also take 50% additional damage from elemental combos that share an element with the selected element.

    Example:

Switching to toxic would make enemies take 100% more damage from toxic sources and 50% more damage from viral, corrosion and gas because they all have the toxic element in them.

Chroma also gains a permanent damage and status proc resistance of 30% at base, effected by power strength and capped at 90% to said element.

Switching to a new element will replace old damage resistance with the newly selected.

Chroma also gains a damage and status resistance of 10% at base (effected by power strength) to element combos that share an element with the currently selected.

    Example:

Switching to fire will give chroma 30% fire resistance and 10% damage resistance to radiation, gas and blast.

(I'm just reaching pulling numbers here. So bare with me)

Activating his 1 again without selecting a new element will result in Chroma performing another scream, stunning enemies and making them take more damage from his currently selected element.

Switching to a new element while his 2 or 4 are active will instantly end their duration.

His 4 should be duration based that acts as a summonable companion that follows you around.

Now his 1 allows him to adapt in combat, synergizes with his 4 and you gain an additional source of damage.

  6. Impact should stagger and ultimately open enemies up to finishers

Puncture should reduce enemy armor by a stackable % over so many seconds. With enough procs, it should destroy armor.

Or make it debuff armor by a % and create weak points, which when targeted, deal extra damage.

    Slash is fine.

    Don't mess with it de

  7. Only the 600th??? Geez lol

I should of searched, you are right. I just had these random ideas and wanted to post them. Spur of the moment I guess.

Was unaware that de said they wouldn't replace abilities since they did for excalibur and limbo. Shame if that's true because her first 2 skills are quite bad..

And ya, the 4th ability sounds op as hell, but it sounded cool :people

Guess here's to hoping they do something good with her because she's a fun frame... just lacking in the skills.

  8. We know Zephyr prime isn't next. Even though she should be, but moving on.

Her abilities, aside from her 3rd are lacking and of course, need to be reworked. But what could be done to her 1,2 and 4?

    Proposed changes:

1st ability should play into her wind element and give us the feel of flight. While she shouldn't fly around like titania, she should still give us a sense of being airborne.

What if her first ability summoned a mini tornado that would form under her and lift her up into the air? Maybe have it cover her lower half of her body so that all you see from the waste down is a tornado? For a better visual idea of this, google image "red tornado" and youll see what im trying to say. You could then use the archwing controls (in ps4s case, L1 to descend and X to climb) to altar your distance from the ground, but with a limitation to how high you can go based on power range. It would function like a channeling ability, similar to nezhas first skill. Offering increased mobility speed boosts as well as doing slash damage to any enemy caught in its path?

Could probably do more, maybe, but this is just brain storming atm.

2nd ability could be replaced with a skill that shoots a single tornado in a straight line. Sucking up everything in range, and once triggered again, or duration has expired, explode and disperse all enemies that were caught in its wake?

4th ability should be like a mix between vaubans vortex and Inaros sandstorm.

She could summon one giant tornado that will remain in a single spot for its duration, or if activated again, Zephyr would anchor herself to the ground and move the tornado around? Have it so that it functions like a channeling ability when moving around. So x amount of energy to cast and be done, or x amount to cast and then x amount per second to move around. Activating again while channeling will leave the tornado in its new fixed position for its duration.

Enemies caught in the twister will take damage over time and have the twister capable of absorbing both friendly and enemy damage. Like mags magnetize, but perhaps without the boom at the end.

Just random thoughts, but wanted to post them. What do you all think?

  9. Here's my entry. The youtube thumbnail says 26 seconds, but the video is actually 25. Not sure what the deal is there as my editor also says the video is 25 seconds as does the actual video once you click on it. Hopefully this doesn't cause an issue :(

ahh shucks id def be down to give it awhile but as i play on ps4 and stuff. thats what i would recorded n which doesnt really give me too many options for editing.

i could upload to youtube but i dont really have a way to just have the raw file to send if needed.

Sharefactory might surprise you. I've made 2 ps4 gmvs using that app and while they aren't as good as a pcs options, it's still (I feel) a viable option.

  11. Ya, that makes no sense. You know he's broke DE. You should remove him from sorties until you are 100% sure he's fixed.

As is now, this is beyond frustrating and to add salt to the wound, the reward we will get IF we beat him will more than likely be... a fricken statue..

  12. I haven't had time to try and learn a raid yet, so I traded for a few energize. Even with a 20% chance to proc, it procs frequently enough to make a difference. I can't even imagine what a full stack would be like! However, I don't run energize with oberon. I just use one of the syndicate weapons or weapons with syndicate mods that proc energy regen and have found that to be more than enough. Still use rage though.

Only thing I think is pretty $&*&*#(%& on Oberon is how Nekros is his worst enemy, ditch that and yeah, Oberon is cool.  I wish we had a Primed Rage haha.

I just did a mission on Akkad with a nekros. 20 waves. Not once did he manage to drain my renewal.

Max energy efficiency with either a 70ish% duration at the least can hold out.

Granted, I used decaying dragon key to basically strip my shields so I could get rage to work more efficiently and had a syndicate effect to restore energy, but still, it can be worked around. Was even able to keep a constant spam of smite blasts going.

  14. But if they did that than they would more than likely have the same no energy regen while channeling rule.

And you also gotta consider what volt or trinity could do with a mod like that?

His 4th and her 2nd augments could have a field day with that one
